How do I get silver and platinum passwords at WPT global

Hello guys,

Long time since I last wrote, I just started again playing some PS, currently only on freerolls, I am quite good with the basics just feel like I can never reach the final table, indees playing against hundreds of player plus the rebuy feature makes it even harde but I would like to benefit fron the knowledge of this large community filled with several great players, so my question is, any tips to “ survive” on the large scale tournaments?

Hey how did you get silver?

First you need to understand what a freeroll is and how most players play in them.
In the freeroll, no one paid to enter, so everyone tends to play more loosely. And depending on the freeroll, many play AIOF style to create a big stack right from the start or leave straight away and not waste time. Then:
1. Avoid going all in from early positions. Many will pay. 2. Avoid bluffing. Many will call with nothing in hand and kill you on the river.
3. Be tight aggressive.

How did you get platinum?

Make it simpel,go with your gut feeling it is usually right and if it is not you learn and improve your game.

Play a tight range in most positions.
If you know who the weak players are, steal from them.
Take calculated risks, against loose players. They play a weaker range.
Be prepared to fold one pair hands, especially against tight players.
To do good in freerolls you also need luck. Ride your luck.

I think you have to play aggressively to get a lot of chips and get to the final table, where the best prizes are.
