I don't think there are strategies to win all the time, especially in freerolls. In freerolls, poker only starts in the back. Before that, there's only a casino where you can only count on luck.
the way i play freerolls is that i am very patient and really watch how the players at my table play. weed out the good players versus the ones that go all in all the time. Play good hands and take smart risks.
Most players in freerolls are bingo players. If you play poker instead of bingo, your chances of making a profit will increase. Don't pay attention to your opponents who play everything in a row, think about how and what will be better for you.
I play all poker the same....Strategy is to win...Whether is freeroll micro of 10-20 buy ins...I take advantage when can..TEUNIT says a lot of good stuff especially when is sit outs etc...you dont have to beat everyone....but if is 4 guys at table four sitting out you need to be more active to get the dead money...i play strategy wise based on position and starting hands...I think a lot of this gets thrown out...I do limp based on hands out of position etc..but if is dead money i raise probably way more often etc...adjusting to the table and players
Just understand the icm of the format and play abc poker. If you want to be fancy- exploit those that can be exploited and play GTO against those that cant be exploited.
