I definitely recommend them! Fields tend to be softer, even good mtt players often play them badly, so if you have absorbed "Poker Satellite Strategy" very big edges are possible.

Hey Dara, can you help me with this? I want to succed with small satelites. For example, at ggpoker I can play 55 cents sats to try another sat, which leads me to another sat, and so on. The thing is that first one is kinda aggressive, since they're hyper turbo, but I'd like to play better those ones since it can help me save some money. Do I have to play all in frequently, or what kind of strategy should I follow, considering the fact that blinds raise quickly?

Contrary to popular belief, how fast the blinds increase shouldn't dictate your strategy much. Yes, when they rise very quickly, you'll reach the push fold stage much faster, but that's a result of the blinds being high, not fast. The only real difference the speed the blinds increase makes is in hypers you have to take every profitable spot, but in slower structures you can pass some barely profitable bottom of range ones.

I think the biggest errors tournaments players made are all ICM related, specifically calling off too wide when ICM is a consideration. There are other errors like set mining too often and not choosing good bluffs (taking backdoors and blockers into account) that I still see a lot albeit not as frequently in the past, as I explained in this strategy article

Hi Dara

How about creating a guide with the most valuable satellites on all major sites?

Something like an exact kind of step strategy where to register first for cents and then what to do with the money won to enter more valuable satellites/tournaments.

Like spending only the minimum in the beginning to get a maximal return. There are so many satellites out there, its very difficult to filter out the most valuable ones.

Interesting idea, butt I think it would be a lot of work as this is constantly changing. If I had more time on my hands I might give it a go

Hello Dara, nice to have you here. Which satellites do you recommend and in which poker room. There are a lot of satellites, including free satellites with a lot of players. For example, if you were playing the Sunday Millions on Pokerstars, where would you start playing satellites?

The Sunday Millions satellites on Stars are always good. In general though the softest online satellites are those to live events, except EPT satellites on Stars (they tend to have too many regs).

Hello Dara, I just bought your GTO Poker Simplified book. I am running through some other stuff first, but am eager on reading it.

If I'm not mistaken you're an ambassador for Unibet. They want to be a site for the recreational players and therefore they don't allow HUD's (which might be good for beginners0, but they also don't have hand histories (not even anonymized).

So here comes my question (finally). I am being told over and over again to analyze my play. To study my game and find my leaks. But how do you do that when playing on a site like Unibet? Should I keep notes manually on (some/most) hands I play? It makes this part a lot harder. Do you have any recommendations, tips or advice on this topic?
