A player playing with two different WPN skins?

And then got lucky for them both to land on the same table in a tournament?

I've seen it before too.

I of course thought this as well - same player using blackchip and ACR at the same time somehow - with VPN possibly.

I thought however in the recent past WPN had consolidated everyone who had two accounts - one with BC and one with ACR. It might have been exclusively for something to do with Venom tickets - but I can't remember.

When I first started playing poker I signed up for blackchip - oblivious to the fact that it was the same as ACR. I had no concept of poker networks - very early when I first started (like within the first couple days).
I soon realized when I tried to log onto both at the same time - - when I log onto BC - ACR would shut down - and visa-versa.

I finally educated myself in the concept of different skins and poker networks - and went ahead and deleted black chip from my machine. No need to have it if it's the same thing as ACR.

Just to clarify - they weren't on the same table in the event - I just noticed both the names in the lobby at the same time.

How likely is it that two completely different players choose the exact same obscure compound name, which was not a common compound word or name btw in any language, from the same country, and have the same "favorite" number (obviously the number 7 here) 007 & 777, and just happen to be in the same tourney that day.

They could be working for the same stable.

These exist - they're not against the rules and not exactly hidden from sight. Look up 'bitB'.

I'm not saying they're good or bad one way or the other, and from what you say it doesn't sound like they were colluding.

It could be a misklik when playing at a large number of tables. I also had in practice that, being a chip leader, I played a fold on a push from a short stack. As long as there is a short stack in the game, then I can safely play aggressively against the other two because they have to play a narrow range of hands. If I knocked the short stack out of the game, then the third opponent would be able to play a push fold wider.

I do not know complexed ICM explanations and strategies , but on the specific first spot I would have called , on the second I do not know , depends on the cards . To say they colluded we need more proof , bUt for sure it's strange . A bad decision/misclick cannot be excluded . To let him take a walk for strategy reasons I do not understand it , thinking of all stacks . Why not take 3 more BB plus the pot and elininate one for a pay-jump , by calling very cheaply , I do not get it :)
