Sometimes I shove all in. Sometimes I slow play em. What kind of strategies do you use with Aces in MTT’s. And any bad beat stories about them would be fun to hear :)

My BB story.. I have AA with my opponent flipping over AK.. board goes 56789 to chop it up lol

I only go all-in with AA, the winnings are about the same as in theory, I tried playing with raises, here I have a winning of 50%, bad beats in the form of threes, straights and flushes are often suitable

Sometimes I play ALL IN pre flop with AA, but sometimes I like to start with 2.5BB to raise ;) I'ts depends of situations, and depends of actions what player did before you.
I lost today with AA against 45, the opponent hit the straight at the river, and I played very aggressive the hand preflop, flop, turn.

preflop I play aggressively, further from the opponent and from the board structure

The aces, I start aggressively and see the situation. If it is a flop with ace, or something favorable with my cards then I continue betting. If not I play carefully and if needed I just fold them!

Ya I have tried same thing, I guess that’s where luck comes in at that point. Or stupidity lol

AA is nothing more than top pair with a bad chance of improving.

Those of you who are talking about shoving them pre are really willing to risk your entire stack on what is sometimes a 20% chance of failure? (e.g. vs underpair or suited/connected)

The best bet is to use your normal raise size (e.g. 2.5bb) in an unopened pot and 3-bet them (along with KK, QQ, AKs, and sometimes AQs) perhaps 2-3x what someone else opens. In the case where there is an open and a call, multiply it by maybe 5-6x. Otherwise, AA isn't really all that different to play than a lot of other hands.

It depends on a lot. If I have not so many chips left, I surely will raise to all in

With a pair of aces, you can pursue different strategies depending on the situation at the table. A player can take an aggressive route, raising the stakes and putting pressure on opponents, or prefer a more cautious approach. However, it is important to be able to balance your play and read your opponents clearly to determine the best way to get the most out of this powerful starting hand.

if it's a freeroll, I'll only play all-in, if it's micro-limits and early position, I'll only play all-in, otherwise I play differently
