We are starting up a "Hand of the Week" (HOTW) series for members. There will be both a Cash Game and Tournament HOTW each week (link to Cash Game Hand of the Week will be linked below). We want you to post the hand(s) that gave you the most trouble that you could really use some advice on. Each week, we will choose one hand from the thread and post here in the Tournament Hand Analysis forum for members to critique and give advice. Anyone who's hand is picked will get 5 VIP Chips*.

How to Submit Your Hand

This thread is for tournament hands only. We have a separate thread for Cash Game Hand of the Week here.
  1. Copy and paste your full, raw data hand history (show results). We will be inputting chosen hands into our CardsChat Hand Converter, so we need the full, raw hand history.
  2. Give some background of the hand. Share your thoughts and concerns about the hand, and ask the questions you would like to receive advice for. Include any other data like VPIP, player reads/history, etc.
Please do NOT discuss hands or give advice on play in this thread! This thread is for submission only. We will post links to HOTW threads here as they go up, and members to whom the hand belonged will be tagged in the post. You can use the URL of that post to make a claim in your VIP thread.

*VIP Chips can be used to enter VIP specific tournaments or saved up to purchase exclusive CardsChat merch. For more info about our VIP Program, check out our VIP Program Guide.

It looks like we have some more interest, so I will pick a hand next week! Instead of me posting it, I will have the user make their own thread. That way you can add your own thoughts and reads to the thread.

Let's keep those hand coming! Remember, it does not have to be a Replay Poker hand. It can be from any poker site.

I have a question. It looks like everyone here shares mostly reeplay poker hands. But how I can share my 888 poker hand here? I'm new to it. So i don't know all this tricks.

On 888 you need to go to your hand history folder. You can find out where this is through settings\Game Settings "Keep my hand history in".
Open this folder, open the relevant hand history file in a text editor (notepad etc.) and copy paste the hand from there to CardsChat hand convertor.

Bit of a pain of a process but that's how it is.
If you are still struggling ask and I might make a tutorial post

I found hand history. Opened the tournament history, found the game and found a hand, also found a button copy to clipboard, so after this I should paste it to a text editor? and then paste it to card's chat hand converter? or drag a text editor file to converter?

This is a tough one. Second hand of the CC Bronze freeroll, so pretty much any hand could get shoved for no particular reason. First in limps and I have a strong hand (AQ) so I do a 5X raise. Limper thinks I must be playing a 72o or something similar so time to limp/shove with his A4o.

AQ v A4

My dilema - should I go pick up dog food at the vet or clean the basement? Like I said - a tough one.

Another tough one - I think this was the VIP100. First-in limps and I have KK so I decide to do a 4X raise. Limper thinks I must be playing a 62o or something similar so time to limp/shove with his 77. This time my hand holds up despite him scoring a full house.

KK v 77

I think I'll go get the dog food.

Well, let me try to participate here. I'm playing through my phone, so I decided to show you this hand via screen recording (I hope it's okay).

So, it's the start of the tournament, the blinds are low, so I decided I could call to see the flop and, lo and behold! I hit the flop and caught full house. But what's next? Actually, when I called, I was considering the possibility of straight or set. Thinking about the fact that one of the opponents has a pocket pair of 88, I decided to check. But on the turn, the situation worsened, because besides the pocket pair of 88, I could also be threatened by JJ (3 more outs). The opponent makes a bet, but it seemed to me that this bet is quite small, although this could be explained by the size of his stack. Anyway, I decided to do a re-reise to try to understand the power of his combination. His bet on the turn made me think that he might just be pushing Flush-drow, but he went All-in and at that moment, I decided to call since his stack is lower than mine, but I have a pretty good chance. Here are my thoughts on that.

Anyway, I thought it was a really interesting game, but since I definitely did everything wrong, I decided to show it here. I'm wondering at what stage I made mistakes, apart from the fact that I probably shouldn't have called at all with this set of cards. Why did the opponent decide to go All-in, because it's a plo, there are too many risks. Should I have flopped?

Well, I couldn't add a screen recording video (I don't know why), so I uploaded the video to YouTube to show it here.🤯
