My answer is by loosening up. We both had 1500 chips, blinds started at 15/30, I was willing to lose up to 500 chips before I got worried about my stack. I know you dont play heads-up, so I had a big advantage, but you do need to add it to your repertoire.
We will play again, a sng next time, a proper one, maybe tomorrow morning(my time, between 8am-2pm?)

and thats why i dont like playing friends competitely at poker/pool. anything im ok at. to me it's all out war, thats it. no prize, then its fun.
