Actually not bad value at all. Huge monsters like that rarely get paid off, because you have the deck crippled, I mean you couldn't have played it any slower right?
Now the important question...did you show it? I hope not.

no i didnt show it, but was hoping someone caught something and nobody did i guess cause i only bet 100 after the river and they all folded,, i played it so slow i was going backwards> lol< buckster436

It's possibly that a hand could fold out that way.

I just seem to remember reading that in a book or article.

But his situation was low cards on the turn and river.

Maybe some one pair up and will bet out. Maybe not.

I guess it just comes down to treating each hand on it's own.

Just the luck of the draw! I once had pocket twos in a freeroll tourney and the flop came up 2 2 K, luckily the other guy had a king in his hand, all I had to do was call and then go all in on the river, my four of a kind beat his house.
Was a sweet pot to win especially since pokcet twos normally screw me over

I don't know if this is right but I always check if I have a BIG hand bc these people online will bet with nothing and call with nothing so I think that was played right.
