Who is YOUR Greatest of All Time in any sport.

1. Bobby Orr Hockey.... Although the best player I've ever seen play the game was Wayne Gretzky, Orr was the one for me to watch as a kid.

2. Michael Jordan...Basketball...smooth and unstoppable, just wished he was on the Celts.

3. Tiger Woods.... don't really care about his home life...if we're talking golf...he's the one! I have seen plenty, including Jack and Arnie, and I don't think either could take him.

4. Walter Payton...RB Football....If you haven't seen him, it's tough to describe....he was just so light on his feet and fast as lightning...was a pleasure to watch.

I have more...:D

Jordan (honorable mention to Oscar Robinson who is very VERY underrated)
Orr
Federer
Lou Gehrig
Jerry Rice/Lawrence Taylor (offense and defense are so different in American FB)
Messi (assuming 5 more yrs like the last 5)
Sugar Ray Robinson (not close really)
Jack Nicklaus (Tiger CAN catch him, but he needs to win a major soon)

I'm not much of a mainstream sports guy, but here goes.

For Muay Thai/Kickboxing/K-1 I would have to say Buakaw. Although Cro Cop is close. That high kick, oh boy!

As for MMA (although in his prime I would happily pit him against any fighter ever to have competed in any sport and put my money on him) it would have to be "The Last Emperor". Man fought like The Terminator back in Pride. I just wished I could have seen him fight live.

I really doubt Messi
even in the next 5 years

simply for the reason that He has no World cup soccer champion title.

how could a all time best , missing a very important gold medal like this....:p

Hockey- As much as I hate Crosby, he's the only one close to Gretzky when he's healthy.
Basketball- Wilt put up sickly numbers in almost every category.
Baseball- Honus Wagner, Barry Bonds*
Football- Cant stand it but Priest Holmes was always fun to watch.
Cycling- Lance Armstrong*

* Denotes a cheater

Football: Peyton Manning:)

Don't you mean Eli Manning :)

Football (soccer) Pele and if I can have a second Messi (Love that guy) Everton needs a Messi/Pele type of player :D

I would also like to add my GOAT to Evertons Dixie Dean :)

OK here are some more...

Motocross.....Jeremy Mcgrath....I live in Southwick, Ma. Swk MX338 irs 1/4 mile from my house.
Love the PELE references. Forgot about him, but he has my vote in soccer.
Secretariat comes to mind. Loved . Loved, Loved Horse racing as a kid....my Dad was a mass breeder of thoroughbred horses.

I'm thinkin' Marvelous Marvin Hagler in boxing....I met him as an amateur and he told me " if i win the Middleweight Championship, they'll have to tear it from my hands" which I think they did!
