It's a very good news for Hungary. Super Cup Final match will be held in Budapest (Puskás Aréna) on 24th September. I'm gonna watch it live if I can get ticket.
2 years ago this Supercup was held here so yeah maybe you are more succesful than me and actually get ticket to this match (if it isn't played bcd ofcourse ...)

I join in the congratulations. in recent years, only super clubs and uncompromising wrestling, no longer exhibition matches, have played in the super cup. In general, UEFA is trying to make football a holiday for the entire European confederation.
I wonder what clubs you would like to see in a super cup match? it is highly likely that one of the participants will be Manchester United or may be Inter.

I hope this virus crisis will be over by that time.
Looks like this stadion capacity is 67k so there's no way on earth this will be going to be sold out or something ...
If i remember correctly then after that break most fans in any football game was 10k in some serbian cup semifinal match some weeks ago therefore i doubt that any upcoming competive game in 2020 would have like more fans than that but then again you could never know ...

The hungarian leaque is running now. There are still rules cos the virus and of course stadions cant be full now (it wouldnt be anyway).
But if the crisis is over by September and everything get back to normal, all tickets will be sold in hours. Last year when Uruguay came to play for the first match (Hungary - Uruguay) in this brand new stadion, this happened. My colleagues wanted to go but they couldnt buy ticket.

Possible bad news for you (?!?) since there's real chance that all UEFA upcoming matches in 2020 will be played behind closed doors.
If you look in Europe then in some countries situation is clearly (much) worse than in others and that is probably why there's real chance that current & next seasons CL, EL games alongside Super Cup and Nations League matches may be played without spectators ... However this will be decided in july so you better be ready for some unpleasant news ...

Last week there were no restriction buying tickets for the Hungarian League...it's a good sign.

Domestic league/cup and european competions are not the same thing btw ...
Only hungarians eh? Why i think the 2 finalists wouldn't be too happy about it IF they cant bring handful of their fans while local (gloryhunters) can watch the game ...
Anyway like i said this will be decided in july so you better prepare for worst ?!?

This is UEFA game btw not your country's friendly so you are looking from wrong place ?!? In UEFA website under supercup and tickets & hospitality sections there are no valid information about ticket sales yet ...
Btw if you look to other UEFA competions then this seasons all CL, EL remaining matches will be played behind closed doors (incl final)
As i understand then same applies to next seasons CL, EL 1st, 2nd and 3rd qualifying round where games are one-legged so this probably affects hungarian clubs in competion aswell "all one legged qualifying ties for 20/21 are to be behind closed doors, no matter the situation in any country" ...
I have no idea who Hungary plays in Nations League this autumn but there's also real chance that these games are also behind closed doors.
So yeah no wonder UEFA does everything in their power to make sure their competion games wouldn't be places where virus can spread lol ...

More good news for you:
Eventhough some weeks ago it looked like this match will be automatically behind closed doors aswell then not anymore ...
I believe they allow only 30% of 68k to stadion which should be around 20k spectators so you probably have bigger chance to get ticket than me 2 years ago haha

Hope the access of the supporters for this match will be the beginning of allowing the fans of the sports to watch the events live from stadiums, halls, courts and etc for the big competitions as we know in the small countries as in mine( Bulgaria) you can watch them live from months. Yes, for sure at the start to be with 30% of the capacity of the stadiums and if all is good, then the organisations can increase the crowd. This must be a step up that we all can beat that virus and it can not stop us from living normal.

Yeah I also read it in the news. About 20k tickets would be nice. Yesterday I mailed the MLSZ (Hungarian Football Federation) they answered today and there is still no decision about that...less than 1 month left.

I just checked that 2 years ago when Atletico and Real played here then 8700 tickets were available for purchase in UEFA website - looks like that included tickets for Madrid supporters aswell - although both clubs had just 1400 tickets so in general sale it was 5900 ...
I have no idea how many people actually participated in that draw for tickets but for example in 2017 when supercup was in Macedonia in front of 30k people (where Real and Man Utd played) there were 130k applications ...
So yeah it is probably quite clear that number of applications will be atleast 10 times higher than nr of available tickets ...

Since the country is closed because of the second wave of the virus, I dont recommend to try to enter the country cos it's not 100% sure that you will be allowed to enter.

I had to make a decision not to attend this event cos my relatives. The virus-situation is worse than before, so I cant risk it. It would have been a great experience.
