The media actually will not be given as much access to Tim Tebow playing for the Patriot's. The Patriots are well known for very quick press conferences and you may see Tim Tebow answer a question once or twice. I am sure he is being told to keep it to a minimum and just to blend in like the rest.

To hold the clipboard is his job for the next year. I only see him coming in during a game if one of the other two QB's is benched as a place holder on the punt team. Teams should be ready for any move they make but the Patriots are well known for disguising great play ahead.

Not a Tebow fan but I must admit him being hired by the Patriot's has opened my eye. Also, the media could be concentrated on him instead of the other players which is what NE likes I think.

GO RAIDERS! They need 3 QB's, ship one.

Maybe they are thinking in future terms, for the long road.

I for one was quite surprised when I heard the news, don't see him playing the next season.

Basically from what is being told by this he will just ride the bench all year and maybe and i mean maybe get to play a little bit. He will learn under Brady and also the coach ( whos names i forgot ) who drafted him in Denver is with New England now and i guess this is why this happened. But i wish him luck and hopefully it turns around for him
hope what turns around for him ??? he got 1 shot in the NFL and took an 0 and 4 team to the playoffs and beat a very good Pitt team. lets be honest the only thing keeping him out of the game is who he is, and he is proud of who he is and i dont think there will be any changes there.

The only thing keeping him out of the game is his inability to throw the ball.

Decent leader, and runner for a QB. Just can't throw.

And NE is really the only place he could go, and then let Belichick manage (ie throttle) the media circus.

there have been tons of qbs who are 10 x worse than tebow who have been given way more chances than him.. he atleast can lead a team to wins as seen by his college and nfl playoff career

Oh yeah, that would be awesome!

When you look at all the teams sitting on multiple good QBs... the Niners before losing Alex Smith, the Patriots... it makes you wonder why we can't even get one. Just one.

Actually he can't throw and I am a pitts fan... I'm assuming your talking about the OT TD pass, he threw the ball like you would throw a javaline he had terrible form and had to use his entire body to throw a short pass, that's fine if you want a short career but to have a long career at QB you need to have good form or at least not need to use your entire body to throw the ball it will destroy your body and won't be able to continue when you get older...

That pass wasn't Tebows amazingness it was the WR slot mixed with bad defense that won Denver that game

People seem to forget that Ben Rothlisberger was injured, Ryan Clark couldn't play and half the Steelers Defense was injured that year... Same with last year, but people don't consider that they just get blinded by Tebow fever lol

Haha im a pitt fan as well, that was way more the deff coordinator s of pitt fault.not like he made some miracle pass. Ill sign him as back up maybe, but that would be his role, npt forcing reasons to play an average athlete. Only thing he is good for is media attention.

I think its odd that everyone thinks he should play at fb, rb, te, or anything other then QB... Can he throw the ball? Not that I've seen. but to put some one who would fit 3rd string QB nicely in harms way doesn't make sense to me. Adding depth to your roster is a good idea and is thinking ahead and preparing for the worst but to get your 3rd string QB injured before Tom Brady gets injured or can't play seems like a bad idea.

But then again I'm not an NFL coach only way I can see him playing HB is for the option to have a trick play threat in the HB pass keeping defenses from biting on the run so the run can be more efficient but IDK (lol)

ok so a big time pressure pass right on the money means nothing to you i get it. sounds more like sour grapes to me. the play was 1 that a winner makes tim is a winner always has been

It was a pass any pro QB could make =o I'm not saying Tim is a bad player he is a great leader and motivator and he is even a good QB but the way he throws the ball now makes it impossible to have a long career in the NFL

As I said before it wasn't the pass as much as it was the defense

Don't you find it strange that Denver got rid of a QB that got them into the play offs and won a game in the play offs to a QB who was a "?" considering the fact that he just broke his neck...

As a Broncos fan, I happily jumped on the Tebow bandwagon a couple years ago when he came out of nowhere and let them to the playoffs and beat the Steelers. I understand Tebow is not a statistically good quarterback or a good quarterback in any sense, but he sure was a hell of a lot of fun to watch, especially late in the those games. I was briefly upset when Elway was so deadset on trading away Tebow right after that great debut season, but got over it real quick when I found out they were picking up Manning.

Anyways, I don't think the Jets ever gave Tebow a chance to prove himself and I don't think the Pats will either with Brady at qb. He will be there if they need him however and with Belichick's brilliant football mind hopefully he will be involved in some exciting gadget plays this coming season.

He didn't lead the team to anything; stop rewriting history Teblows fans...

He got super fortunate to play teams like Chicago and PiTTSBURGH when they had KEY PLAYERS INJURED, played pretty mediocre and made a play or two at the end of games to pull some out.

That is the reality of the situation...

TEBLOWs is a horrific QB.

TEBLOWs is about 6-2.5 or so...short for a TE. documented @ 18 http://byu.scout.com/a.z?s=338&p=8&c=1&nid=1735241

TEBLOWs isn't all that fast really...runs about a 4.75 now all beefed up.

TEBLOWs is a marginal player in the NFL who gets talked about a lot because he was a white kid at a high profile SEC program who won a lot, won a heisman, looked really good with his shirt off and was a visible and strident Christian.

THAT IS ALL.

LOL. OK, OK, while the bag of Doritos would throw far fewer interceptions, it's not going to run the ball for nearly as many yards. :)

If he can't throw the ball, why would you need him as a 3rd string QB? You don't really need depth at the QB position. A solid backup is all you really need.

You do need depth in the QB position, as I said before the Steelers had to use their third string QB just last year, also they could teach him how to throw properly but he is a big guy not big enough for a TE but FB maybe

With Gronkowski hurt, and Hernandez probably going to jail, maybe they can turn him into a tight end!
