Well, I must say it was a great weekend for me. The Colts looked unstoppable, the Giants posted a shutout, and the Saints nabbed an easy 20 pt victory. 3-0...wheeeee. I'm not trying to gloat, but geez, that felt good. I shoulda parlayed the 3 together as well, lol.

My husband and his friend are die hard Seahawks fans (made the trip from California to Seattle for their opening game this year, went to Detroit to see them in the Superbowl). We were all watching the game on Sunday, and I think we all said, "WTF?" several times. I can't tell you how many times they were screaming at the TV "THROW THE BALLL!!!!" Seneca is definitely NOT a clutch QB. Good news is that Hassellbeck should be back next week though, right?

Well, the boys went to those games. When I picked them up from the airport after the SB...well...let's just say it was a long ride home...lol. I would love to go to Qwest Field one of these days though. What a great bunch of fans (except when they're playing the Niners of course...my team...Seahawks are my second fave...).

Progress Report: 4-1 on the year (2-1 week 1 and 2-0 last week).

This week looks tough and I'm not really comfortable with any of my picks (read: not betting the farm!). However, here they are:

Buffalo (pick 'em) - The bookmakers don't know what to make of this game....the line has moved back and forth but essentially a pick 'em. I don't care that it's in Miami, I don't think Chad Henne gets it done. Buffalo is moving the ball on offense and Miami can't stop anybody on defense.

Last week I made a couple picks that I said may make me look like an idiot so here's another one of those:

Baltimore (-2) - This line has been moving in Baltimore's favor (opened at NE -3 and is up to NE -1 at some places), which usually makes me pick the team that the line is moving away from. However, Baltimore is freaking good. This is one of those games where I'm gonna say "duh" no matter which way it turns out. I would not be shocked to see Brady and Moss scorch the Bills (which would really help my fantasy team).

You're right...I'm not taking that game anymore. I was actually logging on here to say just that...The Bills are decimated so I'll pass on them this week.

I'm flipping and going for an upset special! I'll take Cleveland +6. This is another one that could go terribly wrong...call it a gut feeling.
