oh yeah man that's why i went for a good paying teaser.

let me ask you though, have you checked your account statement online? i'm interested to know if the money is withdrawal-able or if it's listed as "bonus$". i think it may be bonus which i think means you have to play poker and earn points or lay more bets or something to make it withdrawal-able. you can look into your bonus's under my account>statements>bonus statement.

Yeah, it's bonus money. I think the rollover requirement is 3x sports, 3x poker and 20x casino, but I'm not entirely sure.

Hey guys. I actually just started a blog mainly about sports betting. Let me know what you think.

http://itsalock.wordpress.com/2013/09/20/pilot/

The blog looks really good and I am looking forward to following it. A friendly suggestion would be to update your about page though when you have a chance. "This is an example of a page. Unlike posts, which are displayed on your blog’s front page in the order they’re published, pages are better suited for more timeless content..." Just isn't that catchy ;)
What site are you using for sports betting?
Also, do you consider yourself good enough to turn a profit over time, or is it more of a recreational thing?

Glad your following, and thanks for the suggestion! I will try to update it this weekend.

When I do bet online I bet on Carbon. I play poker on there as well, and I have made withdrawals with them, so it makes it easy. I usually give my bets to a buddy who know a bookie.

As for your last question, I don't know. We will find out!

you're from cincy so i like you already! graduated out of mason btw. also you like the gators (i'm from florida) so we are great there too! please feel free to fill this thread with cincy/gator love. now i live in denver so rockies and broncos are cool too.

i personally have never really blogged much but i'll def check out what you post on there from time to time. i browse more forums than blogs.

are you saying you're new to sports betting in general? or are you just now getting serious about it? do you have a sizeable bankroll? are you going to be posting about actual bets you're making? that's what i'm interested in personally.

just a suggestion, you might want to make your "lock" picks a moneyline pick instead of Against The Spread. i'm not so sure that i be recommending ATS bets to people. seems pretty risky and easy to be wrong. you could make a "speculative plays" section that has teasers and ATS parlays. (again, ive never blogged) you can make some pretty nice "lock" bets with 4 team sweetheart teasers for +13pts and share those with blog buddies for easy money.

overall, maybe you should just think about being more clear with your overall strategy of how i'm supposed to take your big play recommendations. there are lots of ways to make money at sports betting and some are more effective and riskier than others.

Thanks for reading! I am actually not from Cincinnati, I am actually from a little town between Kentucky/Virginia state border. I was born into Cincinnati fans, and it was the closest pro sports city growing up.

I am not new to sports betting, but I have never been to serious till now. Betting on the spreads and the totals is the main plays with the most popularity. I might add some parlay suggestions from time to time. My big 5 plays is what I am betting on. I won't get into amounts.

6 Point Teaser (7 Teams)
bet 10.00 to win 100.00

Browns vs Vikings -0.5
Buccaneers vs Patriots -1
Cardinals vs Saints -1.5
Colts vs 49ers -4.5
Dolphins vs Falcons +8
Lions vs Redskins Over 44
Bengals vs Packers +3

I'm not sure if I read somewhere that Washington is expecting rain showers... I could be lying (don't quote me). If no rain, I'm liking this teaser big time. GL man!

this week i'm going to go big on a moneyline parlay. i'm currently thinking, seahawks/broncos/vikings to win. i feel like i could add bears in there too as another "lock" but for some reason i just cant bet on the bears (same feelings as betting cowboys or giants). they just lose when they shouldnt sometimes.

i'm interested to hear if anyone thinks i should just roll with hawks/broncos/vikes (which will pay like $450 to win $450ish, i'm hoping) or add in 1 more. convince me of someone who wont lose (straight up), and dont say packers....

I'm in man. I'll be looking for some action that would get my money back 1 for 1 as well. I'll prob wager $100ish if I can find something nice like that.

Those three games are clear winners. The Vikings with a 7 point spread are sitting at -280 right now. San Fran with a -10 point spread is a -500 line. I'm afraid Den with a -15 or whatever and Sea with -9million, those 3 money lines wont be enough to 1 for 1 to get your money back.

Playing with some of the money lines that are out right now, I've got NE, MIN, and NO wagering 100 and getting 130 back. It's pretty close to 1 to 1, and I think they'll pull out. I will wait for the games you mentioned to come out with their money lines and maybe do your 3 easy ones and the NE game maybe. Maybe that'll get us closer to 1 for 1. My money line bets will be placed either Sat evening or first thing Sun.

.....meawhile, i also layed:

Teaser
San Diego Chargers +10
San Diego Chargers vs. Tennessee Titans Over 37
Minnesota Vikings Pick
Cleveland Browns vs. Minnesota Vikings Under 48
Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints Over 41½
Green Bay Packers vs. Cincinnati Bengals Over 42
Atlanta Falcons +10
Denver Broncos -8½
Chicago Bears vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Under 47½
Chicago Bears +4

Risk
$ 30.00

To Win
$ 450.00

Sexy

3 Team Parlay
San Diego Chargers +3
Seattle Seahawks -19
Chicago Bears -3
$20.00 to win $129.43

I know they're horrible, and maybe Pete Carroll might want to try to get his team clicking big time. I'm a bit worried about them winning by 3 TD's.

7 Team Teaser
Kansas City Chiefs +10½
San Diego Chargers +10
Cincinnati Bengals +10
Seattle Seahawks -12
Indianapolis Colts +17
Chicago Bears +4
Denver Broncos -8½
$19.70 to win $137.90

Nice call on the KC game last night. I honestly could see that going either way. I'm sure my Colts are to lose, the question is by how much. I think you should be good in that 17 point range. Broncos should cover and win by at least 10.

Only bet I've made so far is this one:
3 Team Parlay
SD +3 vs Ten
GB -3 vs Cincy
ATL +3 vs Mia
RISK $5
WIN $27.73

Will also have a big money line before the games start, and maybe a big teaser or two bets. Liking some of these lines this week... money money money!!!

Minnesota Vikings +6
New England Patriots +6
Denver Broncos -2½
New Orleans Saints +6

do i realistically have ANYTHING to worry about with this bet? is there a better 13pt tease that im missing. im most afraid of the saints game.....

Saints are home against a western team - I say go for it.

I think it's safe to say we all like about the same games, but looking at some O/U's, I'm not fond on any of them. I feel the O/U's are pretty close as to what we will be seeing out of these offenses. I'm staying away from them.

Yes... Baller indeed.

Gunna sleep on this. I might do 100 on the same bet. I've got my bets already done for this week, but I feel this is going to be fine, I'd be dumb if I didn't throw 100 down on this.

All 3 home games. 2 are played in domes so weather wont alter outcome. Yea... I'm prob throwing 100 down on this as well.

im really glad we talked it out cause i was able to "refine" the bet. I knew i wanted a 3-4 team MAX but just didnt know how to go about it for the best bang/buck.

this seems like such a "smart" bet getting moneyline bets (only bengals get ties) for much better odds.

I agree. Just placed mine for 100. It's gotta win... It looks so simple.
