i'd have to disagree. that game is going to be close one. i actually like buffalo. they played really tough at home last week and i would 100% take them with a 7pt teaser and would even consider them ATS.
OZ: parlays simply mean you're asking more than 1 thing to happen and everything has to happen for you to win as compared to a straight (single) bet.
there are different kinds of parlays like teasers, if bets and round robins.
teasers means you can "tease" the points to help you with what you are picking. say you want the over 40. well the minimum tease is 6pts. now you're betting for over 34 instead of 40. you "bought" 6 pts. the
odds go down vs a 2 team parlay.
teasers can range (on bovada) from 6, 7, 10 or 13pts. obviously changing a spread by 13pts makes them "easier" to win. the downside is you HAVE to do 4 team teasers to have the 13pt option. you can do a 3 team teaser for 10pts max. these are called sweetheart teasers. you can only use them in football and basketball. odds on a 4 team teaser would be like $100 wins $90. so if you want to make a big "safe" bet, this is how you would do it. if you push, apparently it's a win on bovada but i think some sites count a push as a loss so read the fine print.
if bets are simply straight bets in an order of stacking. if you ever programmed anything, you already know about if statements. basically you're saying, if X team wins roll those winnings into Y team. you can make them as long as you want and they just stack on each other. i'd have to look but i think you get some money even if the future ifs lose, as long as the 1st one wins. i think
round robin bets are when you take a parlay and split it into a bunch of smaller parlays. this reminds me betting on dogs or horses when you do a "box" trifecta. you're basically betting that if you have W, X, Y, Z parlayed, in a round robin you'll have W-X, W-Y, W-Z, X-Y, X-Z, Y-Z, all split into separate parlays for $X. so instead of doing 1 $5 parlay, you have to wager $30 cause you are doing 6 $5 parlays really. this gives you a better chance to win but they are expensive, like horse racing.
i hope that was comprehensive enough
