First of all, I am intrigued by the fight between Lewis and Russell in the same team. I wish Russell good luck. I wonder how Lewis Hamilton will behave when he is given real competition in the same car. :D
And of course, the new rules. :deal: It's interesting, although I don't think it will have a strong impact on the balance of power in the peliton.

If Lewis signed a contract to continue, it is because he is going to be the team's No. 1 driver, which means that Russel will have to wait, Lewis will have competition within the team but not the one we all wanted, it will be the same thing that has happened in recent seasons.
Hopefully the new rules match up, and all teams are competitive, even with one car

So, what is the advantage of being a team leader? Specialists work with the leader a little better and updates will come faster?
I think it all depends on Russell himself. Of course, he needs to adapt to new conditions, and perhaps this year he will not be able to show what we all expect from him.
But I hope that he will not repeat the fate of Botas, but will be something like Rosberg, only better. In general, this is the most interesting for me. :driver:

Does anybody know if Russian Grand Prix will be replaced with other Grand Prix or it is too early to be made such a kind of decision?

Portimao and Jerez have requested to replace the Sochi Grand Prix, but nothing is defined so far

The advantage of having a multiple world champion team leader is that the best new upgrades will always be a priority on Hamilton's car. Russel has the potential to compete Lewis with the same car, I don't think the team will give him the freedom to compete with him, less when they have the need to recover the title lost to Max.
Bottas was subdued all the time in the Mercedes team. Rosberg was so mentally worn out that he ended up leaving F1 after becoming champion, and Russel we will see. That's what I think

Yes, I agree with you. I think Russell understands that too. If he does not want to be the eternal number two, he needs to show character and make himself respected. Otherwise, it will be broken, but it has potential.

However, we say about many that they are future champions, but only a few of them become real champions.

Портимао и Херес запросили замену Гран-при Сочи, но пока ничего не определено

I heard that Sochi is already returning tickets. But these are rumors.

Yes, Sochi was discharged for this year, I don't know about the next ones

The Qualifying was good. As a Ferrari fan, you could say perfect.

I hope the momentum for the race will remain.:)

Formula 1 is the most boring racing imaginable.

Many races never feature any lead changes except during pit stops.

Yes, I still record the races, but when I watch the recording I watch the opening lap (which is always the most exciting lap) but then I fast-forward to the end to see who won the race.

Almost always, unless there is a crash or a mechanical issue... the driver who leads after lap one ends up winning the race. In terms of exciting "racing", I don't see very much of that. My opinions obv. Just for the record, I also find NASCAR to be boring too, but at least they have cars passing each other occasionally. :)

Ferrari looks like will be very competitive this season, I was really surprised of the improvement of Haas - last season they managed one time to go to Q2, now one of the drivers in Q2, the other one in Q3, that was awesome. Mclaren are the disappointment from the first race so far.

Nice Ferrari comeback, both Red Bull out with Perez in the last round on place 3.

There were exciting battles. Leclerc and Verstappen fought a good battle. I’m sorry the Red Bulls fell out, so unfortunately Hamilton got ahead.

Forza Ferrari :)
