New England Patriots vs L.A. Rams

I hate to say it, but I think the Pats win this one.



I've got nothing but respect for Wade Phillips, both as a DC and for his social media skills. Legend, one of the best there is.

That said...

That Denver team that crushed Brady's soul was probably a lot more talented than this Rams defense. Yes the Rams have Aaron Donald and some other good players, but that Denver team was stacked top to bottom and front to back. They were the #1 ranked overall defense per DVOA that year, the #1 pass defense (also per DVOA, with daylight back to second



place), and the #4 ranked rush defense too just for the lulz.

The Rams this year are the #19 ranked defense. #9 against the pass, so that's not bad, but #28 against the run. Wade Phillips is very good, but he's not working with the same tools this year that he's had in the past.



While I kind of agree about the asterisk, I'm pretty much over it at this stage. And I'm saying that as a Saints fan.

My wife informed me four of the refs that worked the LA vs NO debacle were from S. California. I am hoping Donald and Suh can get to Brady early and often. You get consistent pressure on ol Tommy terrific and some of that gloss will come off.

I really like both teams NFL has seen a great season with a lot of teams playing beyond the crowds expectations. However Im going for the LA rams since they deserve it this season and the patriots are too used to winnng lol.

Crazy how they helped rams get to the finals though. There was a clear interception not called on the last game.

My expectations came thru patriots win it maybe it's last time for that old gang to get superbowl but they was my favourites anyway this year

I did two great bets. Low score till halftime, lower than 27.5 and low score till the end. Less than 57. Great money.

It likely was as most people knew patriots winning another the big shocker was the ultra low scoring nature of the game
