NBA basketball thread 2021/2022

Am I a bit early? Looks like the season is underway and I am starting by placing $20 on the Raptors tonight (1.7), just because I strongly dislike Kuzma on the Wizards.

Also, some housekeeping. I will just paste this from ribbybruno's thread for last season:

Looks like I will start this off with -$20 as Raptors have played an absolute stercoraceous game of basketball, despite how terrible Kuzma is for the Wizards. However, if Raptors' starting line cannot convert their points then it is for nothing. It has just been that kind of a game. Dalano Banton has breathed a little bit of life into the Toronto lineup but it's a bit too late in the 4th.

For tonight,

Hawks > Mavs
Warriors > Clippers
Bucks > Heat

Bucks are starting off strong from their previous season. Warriors seem to have an advantage with a good new rookie on their team while Clippers are without Kawhi and PG's shoulder may still be an issue.

The NBA season has finally begun. And Milwaukee handed over their rings. Many viewers were looking forward to it.

Bucks > Heat

Bucks are starting off strong from their previous season. Warriors seem to have an advantage with a good new rookie on their team while Clippers are without Kawhi and PG's shoulder may still be an issue.

Hawks and Warriors won. Bucks ended up playing with a depleted roster, as they had picked up a lot of injuries. Credit to the Heat as well for having a much stronger team this season compared to the last. Tucker, Lowry, and Herro played very well alongside Adebayo and Butler. I will have to give this team a lot more credit.

NBA season finally started! It is hard to say who will win these league, there are more teams who can. In these moment I can not see any game on TV and I am sad because that. I hope it will be better in the future. I am fun of Curry and Warriors. So lets go GW

Raptors played surprisingly well with Barnes. 76ers dominated for most of their game against the Nets but threw it away at the end by failing to challenge bad calls and poor decisions were made by their bench players. The rest has gone pretty much as expected.

For tonight, a lot of one sided matches. The only one I am really interested in is Grizzlies vs. Lakers where the Grizzlies are the underdogs despite having played well and the Lakers pretty chaotic in their first two games. Lakers are an aging team overloaded with older Allstar athletes. I am expecting some injuries shortly.

I'll go with Grizzlies > Lakers (2.6)

Warriors > Kings should be a fun game. I don't think I will bet on it but Warriors should take this.

The only other possibly interesting one is Rockets vs. Celtics. Celtics are on a skid and Rockets have a brand new team. Celtics are huge favourites so I am placing a small bet on Rockets (3.0).

Philadelphia with a good chance of winning, that Atlanta match has two chances, so I’d rather bet on points.
