What a terrible mistake by Onana yesterday at Old Trafford. The team really was a mess.Only against the Big Six they play very well.Brighton did deserve the victory.

Antony at Manchester United is a candidate for one of the worst transfers in Premier League history. The Brazilian, who was brought to Old Trafford for 95 million euros, is leaving the "Red Devils" and will arrive on loan in La Liga.

Manchester United is a team joke at the moment. Since Cristoano Ronaldo left for the Arabs, this team has not played anything.

I am not a Man United fan but its sad to see a once, great team in such freefall decline. There is also some real correlation with the fact that so many of the players who have left or been sold by United in recent years have regained form - Antony for example is back scoring, Sancho looks to be improving with Chelsea and there are several others.
The club is without doubt financially weaker than it ever was, it can no longer pay the massive wages or buy the marquee players and now have to consider selling to be able to buy, i expect Garnacho to be sold this coming summer and maybe Mainoo.

Although ups and downs are expected in football, it's taking quite a while for United to get back on track... Especially for those who watched the golden era from 1986 to 2013.

BBC Radio Manchester's Gaz Drinkwater says Ruben Amorim has turned United from an "average football team" into "relegation candidates".

Difficult few weeks ahead for Mr Amorim.

Severe opportunity to restore faith against Arsenal on sunday. Injuries are however big concern, a draw would be a fine result.

Finally, some transparency from Jim Ratcliffe reference the financial problems facing United and the very shocking revelation that they would be broke by this xmas had they not taken the steps on cost cutting.

Here is the interview - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c7571gng06wo

I think its very ambitious to have a 3 year target to win something, maybe a cup but unless they invest significantly in that team and offload some over paid stars, i cant see it - the fact that he feels they will be the most profitable club in 3 years time is unrealistic, to start with - they need a new stadium or at least to totally refurb old trafford and seating capacity, my guess is what they will do is similar to Tottenhams business model which is strong off pitch and weak on pitch but with a new stadium that is quality.

They COULD save this season by winning the Europa League, which would ensure their presence in the UCL group next year.
