Yeah, but Liverpool lack a top defender for rotation. Although... Liverpool won't play in the Champions League, and for the Europa League and Joe Gomez would be a solid rotation player. But Virgil and Konate should be playing in the EPL. There's no doubt about that. And of course, good health to all Liverpool players in the upcoming season! (y):sneaky:
A healthy squad is real happiness for every manager. I hope we achieve that. Matip would also be a solid option given that he finds his top form agaim. I prefer him as a CB than Joe Gomes. And I prefer Joe in the RB role.

Yep, I agree with your opinion. What do you think of the news about Mbappe at Liverpool? Do you believe Liverpool will be able to loan him on a 1 year deal? Then the left flank would shine bright colors, something that hasn't happened since Sadio Mane left. There's also Mbappe's mom (she's also his agent) cheering for Liverpool. It's like an additional argument for Killian's move.:geek:

Mbappe is one of my favourite players. I don't think there's a real chance for us to sign him at this transfer window though. In my opinion Luis Diaz is a super choice for the LW (or LF) position. Given that he's healthy, he'll show his potential.

Luis Diaz's main problem is that he is injury prone! Undoubtedly, he is probably Liverpool's most technical player. A beautifully placed shot, as well as explosive speed. That's all there. But it's the physicality that Luis unfortunately lacks. Very lacking. :(

Liverpool have announced their new captains at Anfield

They have confirmed that Virgil van Dijk has replaced Jordan Henderson as captain of the Premier League club.
Academy product Trent Alexander-Arnold has been named the Cormorants' new vice-captain, taking over from James Milner.

Good news!Van Dijk is one of the best defenders in the world. In fact, I think he is the number 1 in that position.

With all due respect to Trent Alexander-Arnold, I would expect Andrew Robbertson to be vice-captain! That would be fairer in my opinion, as Trent is a great player, but I'm not sure he would be at a high level mentally. We'll see though... And Virgil being captain is absolutely the right and logical decision!(y):sneaky:

Ben Doak is going to be the new Messi. Of course, i'm bias because he is Scottish, but at 17 years old, his dribbling skills and gliding past players with ease, is a joy to watch. He will make several first team appearances for Liverpool this season.

Those choices are logical for me. Another player that I think would suit one of these roles is Alisson. I hope the changes are for the better this season.

I am sure Caicedo wants us too but his agent is making things hard
It would be cool if tomorrow's match decided Caicedo's fate! The team that wins gets a top player, for example. And a draw? Well, if it's a draw, then he stays at Brighton. :ROFLMAO: No, seriously, 1 successful season is not 115 million. Let's be honest.... that's a clear overpayment for Caicedo. I understand when 50 million is asked for Lavia, but I don't understand when Chelsea offer 115 million for Caicedo.:oops:

The red card for McAllister is an incomprehensible event for me. Yes, it was a rough tackle. But this is real British football. There was no intention to cause injury even close to it. I really hope that McAllister will not be punished by serving a suspension, and he will be able to play in a very important match against Newcastle.

For me it was unintentional, too. But still it was dangerous play. This time I can agree with the referee. I believe Endo and Thiago are good options for the position in the game vs Newcastle.

Good afternoon. In my opinion,McAllister deserved the red card.Nothing to complain about.Fortunately, the other player is fine.

Nunez’s clinical late brace sealed a remarkable 2-1 victory for 10-man Liverpool over Newcastle United at St. James’ Park. This is the spirit that this team wants, the one shown in the 2nd half. I'm right ?

That's right, especially in the last 20 minutes. We didn't give up, believed till the end and took the 3 points! That wouldn't have happened without Alisson's great saves - he was a very important figure in this game.

Maybe that's the beginning of a new chapter of his career. I wish him good luck!
