Good to see the fighting spirit in the second half - it really was a hard-earned win. We need some serious reinforcements in midfield though. Sad to see our old stars slowing down as ages catches up. Also unsure if Jones is up to the required standard and would like to see more of the young guns like Bajetic etc.

Wow - now thats a tough Draw and about as tough as it gets for Liverpool but a chance to maybe right some wrongs with Real Madrid drawn in the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League!

Good afternoon.I really enjoyed the game. Both teams playing at great level and with a lot of passion giving their best in order to reach the victory.Liverpool did it better in the first half with a remarkable performance of the players. But Tottenham was the team that dominated the second half and could reach the draw thanks to those dangerous corners and free kicks. That is why the EPL is so appealing

Now the real questions is...post World Cup when Dortmund sit down to thrash out whether Jude Bellingham wants to stay or go ( i think he wants to go) - will the Fenway Group at Liverpool who have publicly stated they will continue to back Liverpool and finances - now splash out 100m for this kid?
Hes worth every penny i feel and Liverpool definitely need someone of his quality...

I like him too but don't have any idea what will happen with him. I don't see missing 1 or 2 creative midfielders as a big problem right now but having Jude in the team would make us stronger.

If i was Liverpool, i would be seriously looking at Tielemans at Leicester, Bellingham and at least 1 more defensive midfielder and two centre backs, you have great goalkeeping cover in Kelleher, good competition for right/left back/wing backs and up front enough firepower - that said, how long can they afford to not look at a long term, quality replacement for Bobby?
There is some dead wood kicking around at Anfield tbh - i mean how long can the Ox carry on as well, hes no Milner and picks up injuries like a common cold.
Interesting times ahead for sure.

Klopp is known to have faith in his players and supports them in difficult times. Well, everything has a limit, as we saw with Karius for example.
Isn't it a bit too early to look for a replacement for Bobby?
I see Keita in a similar situation with Ox. Just very prone to injuries and not the best option to rely on. The idea for something new didn't work out with Artur Melo, too. I don't want to be bad or mean but some players just can't carry the physical and/or psychological pressure. Maybe Liverpool is not the best club for them and they are not the best options for us.

I think its the right time to start looking at another Striker for sure, yes for now Bobby is playing well and he is getting a major run as Mane has been sold but thats the main reason, once Jota comes back and starts as he did when first joined, i think Liverpool will look at Nunez/Salah/Jota and Diaz as their Fab 4 again...
I like Bobby, he is quality and also his link up play is probably the best number 9 or 10 outside of Kane in PL but Liverpool need to be proactive, if Mane had stayed and Jota remained fit - Bobby would have been in a very similar situation to what Jesus or Sane was at Man City and would have kept being rotated off bench and getting a few mins..Bobby for me is too good a player to be a bench player or a squad player.

Well, I don't see that need for a new striker as we brought Diaz and Nunez recently. But who knows. Klopp may have other ideas. What do you think about Curtis Jones? Is he going to be able to find his place in the team?

Strength in depth my friend as we have seen with Liverpool over past 2 seasons - injuries galore and if Nunez or Diaz gets injured again - firepower will be your problem as you cant keep over relying on the Egyptian king to get goals only.
Curtis Jones - i like the kid, great potential but hes going to struggle to hold down a place, my fave player at Liverpool these days is Harvey Elliott - hes going places that lad..

I like Harvey very much, too. Don't you think he's also an option for a winger/attacker? My favourite player in the squad in this moment is Thiago.

Thiago was a brilliant signing, if he stays fit as he is rather injury prone, Liverpool look a different side, his range of passing is amazing and he sweeps up and protects the back 4 like few others - Harvey for me has great attacking skills and can beat a man and is very direct but i just cant ever see him getting 15+ goals a season plus like Lampard for Chelsea or Stevie G for Liverpool.
I would like to see Harvey bulk up a little more too but obviously not at the loss of his pace as when he is buzzing around teams midfield and defences, hes a nuisance and a very good one at that!

I believe he's on the right way. He was really happy when he scored vs Rangers this season. That goal meant a lot for him. I'd like to see more shooting from him. Carvalho is somewhat similar player - young, attacking, skillful. Hope both succeed in growing their full potential. I see them more attacking minded than Stevie G and Lampard but just need more time and confidence to becom scoring machines.

Carvalho could become a brilliant player in time and a England regular as he has turned his back on rerepresenting portugal under 21s i believe and Southgate has seen him encouraging messages about the future...one to keep tabs on as i think this lad could be world class without doubt.

No goals for Nunez in the World Cup so far. In fact, no goals in the tournament for Uruguay at all. I expected more from them.

Very poor coaching by not starting with De La Cruz and De Arrascaeta.

Liverpool is gonna regret signing with Nunez and letting Mane go

Mane is a free man and wanted a new challenge. What else could the club do except letting him go? I really miss him though. About Nunez - time will show.

Poor performance by Keita but many youngsters had the chance to play. Hope everything is OK with Harvey Elliot. Has anybody else watched the game?
