There were a number of things that cost them the game in the end, this being the first. It was like a perfect storm of BS that had to happen. 10 point lead with 3 minutes left leave it to the Lions not to hang on. BTW the Jets are still WAY over rated.

Shawn Hill playing this Sunday on the road vs. Buffalo. Long needed road win is totally possible. I am really a fan through thick and thin but if they lose to Buffalo I may just quit watching.

The Lions don't have playoff hopes this year anyway...I would watch just to see the continued development of my young players. They have been pretty much competitive every game, with a lot of heartbreakers. With experience, they will turn those games into wins.

Found a way to lose. At least they are making it interesting. I'm in the same boat. Just got done watching the Bengals give up 5 turnovers and lose their 6th straight. The Colts were just trying to give us the game and we couldn't get out of our own way.

Atleast the Lions set an NFL record today. Losing 25 straight road games is hard to do.
