Let's see - the pregame starts at 01:00 in the morning tonight...

Nope. Neither the Giants, Patriots, or even Madonna is enough to lose sleep over...

Was it just me or was that the most boring superbowl ever?

No, NFL is becoming a boring brand of entertainment. It's not even a sport anymore--just like NASCAR--selling it's soul to the TV networks. I guess that the Redskins should probably get to keep the Lombardi trophy this year since they absolutely manhandled the eventual SB champs twice this year! When avg. teams are winning championships in professioal sports, the only people that suffer are the casual fans of the games

It was pretty dull....not much in the way of big plays on either side of the ball from either team. A few things here and there, yeah, but over-all pretty dull.

Disagree with this. Giants got hot, and played their best football at the right time of the year. No doubt they were the most balanced team in the playoffs once their offense got in gear late in the season. I mean you had all the offense first (or really offense only teams), like the Pats, Saints, GB and you had a few teams with good defenses, but impaired offenses (Ravens, Niners). Giants had the best mix of dominating defense and reasonable offense. Deserved the win.

Not the most boring by far (1995 49ers vs Chargers was over before halftime) Imho, if you are not an avid fan of either team it is no different than watching a regular season game. But, because it is the SuperBowl you probably want every play to be an ESPN highlight. Never going to happen because every game has its ebbs and flows. The game came down to the final few minutes and either team could have won. That's all I ask for in a Championship game. Sucks NY won though:(

The best part of the game was the 1/2 time show, M looked great for a 50+ singer, and the comp generated visuals were stunning. NY did not deserve the win, but thank gawd the bookies were giving 6/4 NY when they were in FG range in the 4th qtr with a + - 0, nice profit for pothole.

I enjoyed the game and finished ahead a whopping $5 in side bets (picked the coin toss, had the Pats to win, but also had the under at 26.5 on the Giants total score).

If you guys thought that game was boring... my gawd, you ought to see the average AFL grand final :p

I picked the Giants on Carbon as well to win a ticket in the Freeroll.
I really used to like NFL in the 80's, my team is the 49ers, but watching last nights Super Bowl there seemed to be an ad break every five minutes and it just goes on too long, I watched til half time and went to bed cos I was bored with the constant breaks, I just couldnt get involved in the game. The actual game seemed to be of secondary importance behind Adverts and Madonna and I certainly wasnt staying up to see her.
