NBA
Philadelphia 76ers @ Washington Wizards:
Philadelphia 76ers (to win) /// 1.53
Last bet won. Yes, both Buddy Hield and Cam Payne played. And I can't say they played badly. Especially Cam Payne was very good! It reminded me his play in Phoenix. And trading Pat Bev for Cam Payne and a 2nd round pick is a steal for Philly, well let's be honest! Give Cameron 30+ minutes and he will show elite shooting (and he has 40% three point shot realization this season). I'll even say more, he never gives up! And he practically revived the intrigue in the game against Atlanta in the 4th quarter and energized the 76ers with his confidence! Even Tobias Harris started playing basketball at the end of the game. Oh yeah, even Kelly Oubre hit a 3-point shot in the end of the game. But Atlanta was simply better in the first half. That handicap was enough to win. So plus money and a second successful prediction in a row! Total score of my bets: NBA 47-54 in favor of the unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of the successful, NFL+NCAAF 3-7 in favor of the unsuccessful.
New bet: Philadelphia on the road will beat Washington. I see the potential of a renewed Philadelphia even without Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey! Although Tyrese Maxey's participation is questionable and he may play, so for now the bookies put a good
odds on the 76ers to win, considering that Maxey will not play. But everything may change closer to the start of the match. What won't change is the Wizards' disappointing season. They traded Daniel Gafford for a completely dead Richaun Holmes, who lost out on competition to Dereck Lively, not the most elite center in Dallas (yes, a 12 pick in 1st round , but a player without a three-point shot). Dereck Lively is the same Isaiah Hartenstein, but weaker on defense. Well Richaun Holmes is no longer an NBA player. Even Marvin Bagley III is much better. My point is that Daniel Gafford is in great shape right now and losing such a player will weaken Washington and very much. That means tonight will be a small-ball game and Philadelphia (who has already learned to play without a center in the starting lineup) will have an advantage on rebounds. They even had 9 more rebounds in the Atlanta game! Of course, I'd like to see Tyrese Maxey play, but without him the 76ers roster doesn't look as bad as it did before the trade. I think the Wizards will lose to Philadelphia, who are just more stable and more motivated than Washington. You want to bet? Sure!
