San Antonio Spurs @ Denver Nuggets:
San Antonio Spurs (+ 12.5) /// 1.73
Last bet lost. Atlanta destroyed the Wizards and scored 136 points! 48.6% three-point shooting percentage. That's a season high! Are you kidding me? Well, okay, Trae was cooking: hitting from the logo, that's understandable (62.5% three-point shooting and 5 made three-pointers). But I don't understand why Deandre Hunter (60%), AJ Griffin (66.7%), Garrison Mathews (66.7%) and Bogdanovic (100% and 3 made three-pointers) have such high three-point percentage. The betting was great! And I would bet again without hesitation! Getting to season high and 48.6% realization of three-pointers is just trivial bad luck. The total score of my bets: NBA 9-21 in favor of the unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of the successful, NFL+NCAAF 2-5 in favor of the unsuccessful.
New bet: San Antonio Spurs won't lose to Denver by more than 12 points! You're going to say to me: "What are you doing? San Antonio is the worst team in the West! And they're playing on the road against the current champions! And Jokic is the MVP, Mr. Triple-Double!" Okay, I hear you. But first of all, Denver has been terrible in the last five games. Especially the last game against Houston! Second reason: Denver has only won by more than 12 points 3 times this season (Thunder, Bulls, and Pelicans). In the last 8 games Denver has only won 3 times and that was by 4 points or less. Third reason: very strange information about Denver's injured players. Well, it is clear that Jamal Murray is injured. It is interesting that 4 players of the starting five are questionable for this game with the Spurs: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Aaron Gordon, Reggie Jackson and Nikola Jokic! If at least one of them will not play, it will be a very serious loss for Denver, because among Denver's role players, only Christian Braun has been able to play basketball well so far, and not in every game. Fourth reason: San Antonio has no injured players at all! Fifth reason: in the last 10 head-to-head games between these teams, Denver has beaten the Spurs by more than 12 points only 2 times. Last season San Antonio was without Victor Wembanyama and still they didn't lose by more than 12 points in 2 games out of 4 in the regular season. But then both Denver had stronger role players (Bruce Brown and Campazzo) and San Antonio didn't have Zach Collins in all those games (and Victor Wembanyama offcourse). Bet? Sure!
