Not much to pick from for today, also even though my bets on Roland Garros(prematch and live), weren't that good I'll try some bets again as I'll definitely watch the big event we'll have today, especially after Nadal stated in his last press conference that you never know if this might be his last match at RG...

Rafa unfortunately isn't the unbeatable player on clay- especially here in Paris - we used to know(I still can't believe he won 13 titles at RG), after many injuries and also because time passes so fast (he'll be 36 in a few days), he's not even close to his past self... Nole on the other hand, despite being pretty much the same age(tho around 1 year younger), seems in a total different situation: he seems in top physical condition and he plays close to his best tennis... Also, a bad news for Rafa is that the match will be played at night and because of the humidity, the conditions can be heavy(I think he even asked the organizers for the match to be scheduled during the day but he was refused* we all know how big of the event this is and TV organizations want to profit at maximum from it...); anyway, to make it short, I can't see anything but a win for Nole, maybe even in straight sets...

I expect few goals, with the end result being 0:0 or 1:1, or even 1:0 on some side, maybe:hmmmm:.
Both teams really want this final. It could be a beauty patch for the Italians because of the failed World Cup, and Messi said in an interview that it is important to them and they want to win this match.
This is the last time this initiative has been in place for almost 30 years (European Champion and Copa America winner separate match).
Whether it’s a good idea to bring it back to life and we’ll see...

Sigh, I really thought that in this circumstances Nole would be huge favorite but Rafa showed once again why he's the 'King of Clay'... I'm also a bit salty that I didn't stick with my favorite bet on grand slams too- over 3.5 Sets... It is what it is and hopefully we'll get back on track with some bets from the National Teams round(lots of matches in the next ~2 weeks):

I also thought that it would be a realtively "easy" match for Novak, especially after Rafa's match vs FAA. But, damn, Rafa's game yesterday was levels above than expected. He's the best clay courter for a reason. Hope now he takes another RG title.
