One that I enjoyed was "The Greatest Game Ever Played", and I am a little surprised it hadn't been mentioned previously. Given the fact it was based on a true story, that of early golfer Francis Ouimet, I think they done a great job on it.

Think I watched it on Netflix a few years ago, couldn't tell you if it is still on there.

Of course the ones mentioned previously in the thread would probably come ahead of this, but this one is definitely worth a watch if you haven't already seen it.

I think that as funny as Happy Gilmore is, the best golf movie has to be Tin Cup. Costner is great in it and it depicts scenes that actually happened in real life, like the famous shot over the water that happened to Gary McCord.

I like both Happy Gilmore and Tin Cup, but for my money, my favorite Golf Movie is Caddyshack. Even though it was released about 40 years ago, it's still hilarious and worth a watch. Rodney Dangerfield and Chevy Chase both really excel in this movie. Ted Knight as the straight guy to Dangerfield and Chase's humor just add to it.

It's definitely worth a watch if you haven't already seen it before.
