manuel neuer gets my vote . his incredible 'extra sweeper ' style changed the way the modern game is played . he is getting on in years now , so his reads , reflexes and positioning are not what they once were , sadly .

I completely agree with you, and I’m surprised how the author of the post could not include him in his list. This is not respect for history. He was offered any amount to be called so that he went to defend the gates of Real Madrid, he refused because he was not brought up so and played football not for money, it was a man with a capital letter.
