He is incredibly underrated... he was a big reason why france was so good in the late 90s, early 2000s.

I agree. I still like buffonLev Yashin is the best goalkeeper. Now the prize for the best goalkeeper in the world is named in his honor.

Yeah good list my friend, thanks for your opinionHi everyone.
I am not very aware of the current soccer, since I liked the one of another time more, so my list is surely of guards that some of you do not know (the order is not relevant).
I didn't see them all play live because of my age, but I've seen videos.
-Lev Yashin (the black spider) (Russia)
-Amadeo Carrizo, Ubaldo Fillol (Argentina)
-Andoni Zubizarreta, Iker Casillas (Spain)
-Gianluigi Bufon, Dino Zoff (Italy)
-Dida, Claudio Taffarel (Brazil)
-Oliver Kahn, Harald Schumacher (Germany)
-José Luis Chilavert (Paraguay)
-René Higuita (Colombia)
-Jorge Campos (Mexico)
Of course there are many more but these are the first ones that occurred to me.
Greetings.
I completely agree with you, and I’m surprised how the author of the post could not include him in his list. This is not respect for history. He was offered any amount to be called so that he went to defend the gates of Real Madrid, he refused because he was not brought up so and played football not for money, it was a man with a capital letter.Lev Yashin is the best goalkeeper. Now the prize for the best goalkeeper in the world is named in his honor.
