Dear CC community,
with gradual return of sports and more betting options appearing in this context, I decided to start and run this thread including Best Bets of our betting community.
By now, we have several regular tipsters like risto, akgross, georgel, ingbank, ulgromkii and others. Even though we have a big separate thread "Betting tips and predictions" where any CC member can post their picks, the objective of this thread is to focus only on the best bet for a given day selected by a tipster, track the outcome of tips, place a bet applying a certain staking plan and systemize the whole thing to the extent possible.
Therefore, all interested in betting are welcome to post their best bets (NAPs) of the day. Preferably, one bet per day with not too low odds (around 1.5 or higher)
and if you have a good feeling about a strong favorite consider taking them with AH (-1) or such. You can also provide a Double bet e.g. incl. 2 big favorites as your NAP.
You can post tips from any sports around the world and not only popular sports.

Staking plan: I will be placing bets based on your tips using a simple single bet system with different units subject to the odds.
For odds below 1.5 (-200 US format) I will use 2 units (U)
For odds from 1.5 to 2.0 (-200 to +100) I will use 1 U
For odds above 2.0 (+100) I will use 0.5 U
Starting virtual bankroll will be 100 Units; I'm using the term "virtual" because it will be tested first on paper to a certain point depending on the success of community selections. Most likely, this project will fail should we lose the full bankroll. Hopefully, it doesn't happen.
I'll be taking odds of 888 Sport. Odds will be shown in decimal format, and

Should this project become successful and display good results, I'm planning to switch to Yankee system betting based on at least 4 selections per day.

Activity level of this thread will certainly depend on posting activity of our regular tipsters. If there will be lack of interest from betting community, I'll be still picking selections from the main Betting thread at my own discretion (if tipsters won't mind) and post them here. From time to time I might be posting my own best bets.

Last but not least, some CC members with little betting experience receiving sometimes free bets from poker rooms could give a quick look into this thread and find a decent option.

Today seems to be a good day to start this project with plenty of European football.

I am glad that you included me in this list, I can give predictions but I always put big odds on my own, for me the most excitement is to put on a losing tennis player with a factor of ten, and now when several such bets come in a day I become happy that Chelsea wins over Man City, I was sure of the way.

there are days when, from five hundred rubles I get to five thousand from two bets and I withdraw money because I know that there’s no point in going further. I don’t play and get money often, but after leaving the money I leave a small cash desk and play at my pleasure I mainly take hockey and tennis for those who lose and I will tell you many who lose during the match and then win. My biggest odds are for the order that came in 32 So what is the biggest odds you have nailed, my team lost 0-2 and won 3- 2 I don’t remember exactly who played the youth teams. Somehow, I do not pursue the goal of getting rich on this is purely entertainment.

I also sometimes use similar system for tennis bets. General idea is to back a pre-match or slight favourite after losing first set or if I think that player has a potential to come back. I rarely get to odds of 10, usually in the region of 3.0-5.0.

Yes, this is a working scheme, for this you need to watch matches online, I often go to a sports bar where there are many broadcasts simultaneously. Then everything works when you watch matches and see everything that happens.
