I'm only gonna list players that I have seen play.

1- Paulo Maldini
- He's was a complete defender, not your usual super aggressive Italian defender, he was elegant, inteligent, best man marker I've ever seen and the way he moved around with the ball looked like he was a world class elegant midfielder.

2- Sergio Ramos
- He is one the most aggressive tacklers I've seen, great in the air which makes him a threat on set pieces, he also got leadership qualities second to none and technicaly he's excellent and he's a big game player.

3- Alessandro Nesta
- As far as ball playing defenders go, Nesta is prob the best. He had excellent ball skills, vision, passing ability and range also, his tactical awareness and positional sense was one of the best I've seen.
