Oh man , Tsitsipas might be a country Greek fellow man , I am happy for him , but most of all I feel sad for Federer's loss . I have been supporting him for years and he is my no1 sympathy and idol , I won't t forget this overnight . The Swiss superstar tried his best , but he was unlucky in some shots imo , plus the young opponent was ''dopped'' for victory . He was fighting as if there was no tomorrow . I feel depressed for this loss , I had hoped Federer went deep into this major .

.6-7 , 7-6 , 7-5 , 7-6 It was an awesome match , really lucky everyone in Rod Laver Arena . I hoped it went to the fifth set and then maybe Federer would make his counterattack to withstand Tsitsipas' godstamina .​

I hope nothing similar happens to the other star of the AO , Djokovic and he makes it to the final .

I love tennis and of course I support my Novak Djokovic, who is great this year, and I hope he will make excellent results this year too. One is Nole! This is a very strong tournament and the cast is to win it, of course, to one of the cheerful tournaments.

Man , on the second set the odds for Tsitsipas to win the match were satisfying at least , once they reached 4.50 But I couldn't bet against Federer , Tsitsipas' dynamic was not so clear to me (in any case I would bet few dollars cause I have some bet-downswing the last months ) .
So I bet the absolute clear favorite to win this match , the over 37.5 games 1.80 . I started watching the match at the 2nd set , so I got this over 37.5 games odds .Earlier , on the 1st set , I am sure this offer must have been lower , the same applies for the risk . But is seemed I think the best beting opportunity on this match , Tsitsipas' godstamina and Federer's determination made sure of that

I'm Serbian, Djoković's fan

I really like how young Tsitsipas is playing, but I will put money tomorrow on Bautista Agut. He is very tough player, and young Greek will be "empty" after yesterdays big time again Federer. Same happened to Tsitsipas after last year winning against Djoković - he lost next few matches against lower ranking players. On the other side - Bautista Agut is on fire.

It was a real thriller. Williams won the 3 set with a score of 5:1. Pliskova did the impossible.

Roger is out.. (the biggest surprise for me), Serena is out against Pliskova (the 2nd biggest surprise and a big joke for me).
I think now its clear that Djokovic will win, and on the womans side, its hard to call, but Kvitova will get the job done and win this year.

After Medvedev and Nishikori , now Djokovic to the semifinals . I wish him the best of luck .

Tomorrow we will se Tsitsipas vs Nadal , I can hardly wait for the match to begin I prefer watching Nadal against Djokovic in the final , rather than Tsitsipas , who is very dangerous for him imo .


Also I like Osaka (especially her determination to win) , so I hope she wins Pliskova and get to the women's single final .

I agree. I think Naomi Osaka will be the next super star of ladies tennis. She definitely has the ability. However, I'd like to see Petra Knitova make it to the final, for the reason outlined in my first post in this thread.
