i dont want anyone to get angry but im asking a serious question. is cricket really a sport? i dont understand the fun in standing for three days in a field and maybe having to catch one ball all that time.

and b second question, does any other country care about or even know what the ashes are apart from england and Oz? ps not tryin to stirr controversy here, serious questions from a intrigued irishman

To be honest i think this is probably the best England team ive seen in 30 years of following the game, and i think the series averages really show what a huge difference in performances there has been.


It is not the worst Australia side ive seen, Watson, Siddle and Clarke

I'm from Ireland and I think what your man is saying is rubbish of course cricket is a sport.
But if hurling is our national sport why any time Ireland produce a talented cricketer does England rob them sure how would they know cricket if all they do is hurling and you must know what hurling is to mention it don't get me wrong i think the sports a a joke but these sports are not professional like yours of course

Lol we can make these jokes now with their current team, but oh man 10 years ago nobody could even touch em. The only other team in history that could've beat that team is the West Indies team in their glory days.

God I miss the ages when there was one dominating Test team leagues ahead of everybody else. I guess the even teams nowadays are exciting too though...
