Ronnie O'Sullivan wins fifth Masters title by beating Mark Selby

The world champion won the first five frames and held a 7-1 lead at the end of the first session.

O'Sullivan also took the opening frame of the evening session before a mistake in the 11th frame let Selby in.

Selby claimed two more frames, but it could not stop O'Sullivan, who won the Masters for the first time since 2009.

Well if the standard of snooker is higher now than Hendry,s era and there are more world class players now than there was. I must have missed them all playing that tourney and Ronnie apart from a Higgins final has played 2nd rate players all his world title finals pfffft Hendry is the best ever!!!

don,t believe barry hearn,s hype about him bein the best ever its to put bums on seats that's it!!!

also being English helps him if Hendry was English and o,suckavillian was Scottish we wouldn,t be havin this discussion!!
