Any darts fan?

Stephen Bunting is obvious one of the best players out there and have seen him play in the PDC´s UK open, where he started of brilliant, but when he faced a even more brilliant Peter Wright in the later stages it was all over for him.

I used to watch the BDO very often, when Ritchie Burnett and Steve Beaton won and when the rise of Barney started (cause I am obvious Dutch) but say after Jelle Klaassens win and when a lot of Dutch BDO player made the step to the PDC, I went along and of course with the first Barney-Taylor WC final there I almost never looked back again. Except when I heard Kist was in the BDO final couple years back I watched again.

I am a very dedicated darts fan and have watched almost all tv tourneys on PDC last couple of years, after this years MVG win I have watched a couple of BDO games and besides that lakeside has one of the biggest traditions in darts the games I watched werent of great quality tbh.

I really love when it is the Grand Slam Of Darts when the better BDO players play against the PDC players, but think it would be better to just have one big dart family.

Prolly will take a look at the semis and final, cause often thats where the better BDO players will come (except for the Waites upset of course)

Some cracking Dutch darts players out there, I also like Jan Dekker. I love the Dutch man in the crowd @ the BDO lakeside, with his dartboard hat. I think hes mainly there for Dekker.

Yes he really is a quality player and really felt for him in the Nixon final when he came up 6-0 and Nixon came back to 6-6.

Well My Martin Adams is out he was beaten 5 - 2 by Jan Dekker. Jan Dekker deserved the win.

Just got to root for Stephen Bunting now, he is playing my other fave tho Robbie Green, another scouser

John Part is one time Lakeside winner, might have even been when it still was the Embassy and 2 times PDC world champion.

He is a PDC player now.

He is obvious the favourite to win Lakeside.

Bunting won the World Master in 2013 and 2012.

I hope he plays better than he played against Hofstra as he made me so nervous watching him play that day

Think it will be a good game tho as Robbie Green is a good player also

I think I will leave the betting for just poker. I may bet on the football results, I miss doing that. I remember a few years ago I had 9 out of my 10 results correct and I was waiting on the last match on Sunday, I put a home win for Coventry and they drew. I would of won 3,000 if I remember correctly

I only bet once a year on the Grand National, I actually stopped betting on that for nearly 10 years as my horse broke his neck and I actually felt guilty for betting on him. I was like 13 at the time. That is the only thing I dread when its the Grand National, how many fatalities this year

Used to watch the darts all the time but got bored of it, whispering Sid RIP was really getting on my nerves at the time as he always had his tongue really far up Taylor's hoop lol. Like playing darts too, one of the best Xmas presents I ever got was about 8 years ago when the wife bought me a dart board, it's still on the wall in the bedroom yet.
