I'm bummed that Tom Dundon killed the league. Supposedly, he was in it only to get the AAF's betting technology.
I watched pretty much every game. They had a good product. Having to go for 2 after a TD, 4th and 12 on your own 28 for an onside kick, and less commercials was great. I know it's tough to make money on the first year, and the league was losing money. But...a lot of people liked the league and they were on a good trajectory to being a feeder league to the NFL.
They would've added more teams, had more tv viewers and ticket/merchandise sales, and more fans. Unfortunately, it just wasn't meant to be. We will just have to wait for the new XFL to get here next year!
