No running game equals no Lombardi trophy

If the steers do not address the issue of the running game . then there's no way in heck the Steelers are going to contend for a Lombardi trophy or make a deep run in the playoffs it's just that simple. Fourth and one in the game on the line and you decide to throw a fade pattern to a third string running back who's only caught five passes the entire season that is not Pittsburgh Steeler football and they need to find their identity real quick or this could be a very disastrous season which started out so promising.

Winning in the Super bowl is the optimal time but what I meant was the Steelers don't have a bye week this year. They are tired and they will need a bye week going into the playoffs and with only the #1 Seed getting the bye week and the Chiefs being the Chiefs every game for the Steelers matter.

Especially when you consider the Steelers tendency to loose to sub 500 teams in years past which has cost them huge come playoff time.

Defensive injuries combined with horrendous offensive play calling will keep this team from doing anything in the post season.

Fitchner is absolutely awful.

You think the Steelers would notice the Steelers offense gets about twice the YPG passing and Roethlisbergers QBR goes from low 90s to 100+ when Roethlisberger calls the plays VS Fitchner.

If you told me 11-5 before the season started I would of been okay with that.

11-5 now with an early playoff exit. Not so much.

3rd and long at the Colts own ~15 with over a minute left. Steelers have 3 timeouts and let the clock tick down instead.

Tomlin has always been horrible at clock management. In fact here's a 2015 article on his clock management skills.

Mason played pretty well with exception of the INT. Deep ball was there, hopefully they call the same type of game and Ben hits his throws in the rematch next week.
