Not Surprising

Just my two cents...had a similar experience with betonline. I received a $50 free bet bonus a while back. Used it and won my bet. Took my profit to poker and ran it up to 1k. Then i go to cash out and i'm told i have a rollover to complete and must make a 50 dollar deposit as well. The rollover was like 50x. I had top bet almost 2k to be able to cash out. Only specific bets too. Winded up losing a lot of it. Then the remainder wasn't enough to cash out. Swore off that site after that. To be fair and honest though, I do know some players (U.S.) that play and have cashed out on this site.

Not surprising. Nothing the On Line poker sites does, will surprise me. Only when On Line Poker is made legal and regulated will we be protected from these crooks.

I don't like this layout very much, I mean really? No antes, 10 people per table, they use increments under a whole dollar, like instead of 2295, you could have 2294.50...wtf is this crap? who wants to see all that clutter on your screen? I know its been around since 1996 or w/e but sheesh...how is it possible that stars and full tilt were AGES ahead of all these lame copycat sites, as far back as 8 years ago?!

I agree with all the things I am reading about betonline. I have been playing there off and on for about a year and have experienced a lot of the frustrations that you all have. I was able to get a free bankroll to join but after A LOT of nasty bad beats, I will only play freerolls on there (which I seem to place in the money a lot by playing tight early and then getting very aggressive in the middle stages and then backing off some right after the bubble and then turning up the heat again) but there are more bad beats here than anywhere else I have ever played and I wouldn't waste my own money playing there.

Really People

I Have played on other sites and don't like them as much as BO. Right now I'm sitting at 6x what I put in.

I see some people that left comments on this post that I have played and recently so they cant dislike it to much or they wouldn't still be hanging out there. (and ifs not them than someone else is using the same exact name)

We all have good days and bad days in Poker someday's the cards just are not going to fall for you, I notice my worst days are when my hubby's home and wont stop talking to me while I'm Playing, Darn him anyways need to get him a day job .

I'm not going going to copy and paste other peoples comments I'm sure you've already read them, but a few things bothered me,

First.

your having connection issues on BO but all the other sites your playing on at the same time are working fine, lol Umm what kind of pc you got? whats your net speed? among other things have you tried to shut a few windows to see if that might help the issue.


Second.

You didn't win more than your blinds back when you went all in with your three of a kind, news flash a lot of things beat three of a kind yes even A's. perhaps the person you pushed all in had less chips than you and that is the only reason you got some back.
maybe you should scroll back and look at hand history and take a good look at what you got slammed with.
Its not cool to be upset with someone who has a play style that is not what you expect. They might not think your limping in is cool. Yet to me there is nothing more I love than checking on the full house I just flopped and let everyone else push me in, I just hate betting and watching people fold, but that's just me.

Third.

A lot of people win with off suits and random cards - there are a couple reasons for this, Every one has to have some luck sometimes and all flops are not made up of A's and K's. Second if your having one of those games where you want to take the dealer in the back ally cause all there giving you are 7-2's sooner or later you have to play what you got, bluff like crazy, or get blinded out.


So as far as I go Bet Online has been good to me.
Even the pros know when your having a off poker day go do something else for a while. I need learn to get my self to back off now and than cause It's just not happening. I know its not easy.

when poker came to be regulated the only thing you'll get is to receive high fees like Cardplayer does (however Cardplayer is free to play). i hope that day never come.
talking about BOL i have heard some negative feedback but i didn't have big problems whit them, only small bugs like connection trouble or tournament cancelled. i have no complain.

I've played 7 different poker sites in the years of playing and this site is by far the worst.

1.Read the fine print very carefully!!!!!!!! Because we always read all the legal stuff right? Pain in the @$$ to get your money out and expensive.

2. worst customer service ever.

3. heard and experienced myself getting kicked of line, lagging, yata yata yata It happens every once in a blue moon on the other sites I've played but this site seemed to constantly do it.

Example I was in 5th place with 15 to 16 players left it completely shut down on me after 10min of trying to get back online 1/3 of my stack was gone. played 2 hands then kicked again. when I got back online I was in such a panic that I had to play hand I'd normally not play and lost out in like 12th. I contacted them ( now keep in mind this was only like a $5.50 buy in turny but 5th place was like $172 and first was like $500-$600. I asked for at least 5th place money because that's when their servers failed me. was not experiencing any other internet problems at the time. Them--- My fault for going out. Give me at least my $5.50 back then. Them nope read or policies.
Well now I just want my money back off the site. $129 out of the $300 I put in. Them -- Nope read our policies about rake and having to play all of your $300.

All in all STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SITE AS POSSIBLE. BetOnline is Garbage.

With this post being 4 years old originally I sure hope that the site and customer service is better now. I haven't put any money on BOL but I do play there and am going to attempt to build a bankroll there from freerolls.
As far as getting beat where someone has a 47 off suit or donkey cards that happens at all sites that I have played. Which is that donkey player catching cards who shouldn't of been in that hand in the first place. Just my thoughts on that part. If I do happen to make money and cash some out I will post my experience back here good or bad.

Same with ACR,Black Chip and True Poker,these sites are horrible scam artists,stay clear from these also. I already knew about BetOnline,they are all the same. Remember these online poker sites are designed to make money:bath:

This just isn't true. I have cashed out several times. Never once has there been a problem getting my money. The live chat and email support has always answered any question I've ever had. It is considered to be one of the best sportsbook sites for a reason. Go to any review page and it's always in the top 3. It is a very trusted site because they always pay out. And the poker site is improving. Bad beat jackpots. And they have been trying new things lately like shark week and dollar insanity. The site is great. I have played on many sites and bet on many sportsbooks. This is the only site I trust with my money.

I have not seen any problems there is a streamer that i watch and he plays on BOL and i have not seen him have any issues. it could be your internet source having issues on connecting to BOL.
