Less regulars at 888 in lower limits so def easier to grind

If you dont live in USA, PS is much better graphics and multitabling smoothness as well as ability to set own avatar (trust me, the avatars 888 offers are so hideous you will puke)

If you live in USA... Only 888 is an option out of these 2.

I started playing on 888 recently, have to say players are even fishier then on Pokerstars.. Some crazy raises with j4 and calling reraises is just ridiculous.

That being said, 888 is probably better for grinding, while PS is probably better for learning since u will engage various players, as oppose to 888

888 is a recommendable poker-room for micro rate players. According to my observation, the best platform to build a role.

I think pokerstars is way harder..On 888 I dont have that feeling I'm going to get raped everytime someone calls my preflop like on PS. freerolls are super hard on PS because there are sooo many people in them.. very difficult to go deep without getting lucky at least one big pot!

Pokerstars are clearly harder, opponents are often more experienced than at 888poker, due to the growth in their game mode offered by Pokerstars with their various schools and poker courses. That's why Pokerstars rivals are more solid

888 is easily easier, especially the mid-range deep stack tourneys.

poker stars is a lot of experienced rivals but also a lot of very weak players here as lucky, my opinion PokerStars is easier and more convenient than 888

Especially 888 is better for making money by having less people playing and with lesser skills than pokerstar players, but to gain experience and more competitiveness pokerstar is very much ahead, so I play both to make money and develop my game

I chose 888 above Poker Stars all day. I play for fun, not for profit, and 888 has so many more freerolls and lower stake tournaments so I can play longer.

Not to say I'm not playing to make profit, I have actually started winning and have now withdrawn real profit (be it only $20) and still have bankroll left to win more

Played both of them.
I prefer PokerStars. I just like the way it flows at a good pace most of the time.

It depends on which tournament or cash game you play.
In addition, each day and time has its own characteristics.
I find it difficult to generalize.
It has easy and difficult tournaments or cash on both sites.

I'd like to share my opinion on this topic. I choose definetely both of them cause there are a lot of pros and cons whether in PS (such as nice soft, quite tempting winning prospects and fish filled boards) or in 888 rooms (which are smaller, conier and without such a hurry). As for negative sides, winning a freeroll PS tournament is like becoming a World Cup champ due to huge amounts of players. The play in 888 rooms very often turns into push and all-in bets which distracts your attantion from real game. So, take it or leave it I suggest u all playing on both resourses.

Sincerely yours, mrpolyglott
from Russia with love!

for me on poker stars the players are stronger than at 888.I have a suspicion that half or more bots on 888's or that there is not purely because I went from there

For me it looks how it is better to use both.First incres level to 100 in 888poker or 40-50 and then withdrawal some money and play on pokerstarts so you can collect those boxes there and have free profit in 2 sites.

At pokerstars it seems harder to me, the players are bigger and the level is higher.: JD4:
