I have been ardently against on-line poker for the longest time. Quite frankly, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that stops players for colluding and cheating. Finally, the proliferation of bots on all of these on-line poker sites is astonishing.
In lieu of this quarantine, I decided to go against my better judgment and try this application called Pokerbros. I lost $300 and subsequently deleted it off my phone. This app seemed to be another juiced poker site that rigs the players for action. Everyone always has a pair or a draw on every other flop alongside miraculous overcalls on 4th street just to drill a two outer on the river card. Some will argue variance, luck, more hands played per hour, bad plays, etc. But the shit I've seen go down overall on these underground on-line poker sites leads me to believe that most of them are just one big scam.
I recently met some shady American guy from Las Vegas at a casino outside of the US. He was going on and on about this Pokerbros app and how he is making a killing playing on it. How is he doing this? This poker app has clubs that can be started by just about anyone as far as I know. This jackal told me he had a club and for me to join it. One thing I immediately discovered about this shady guy is that he is a cheater. He uses multiple devices with multiple dedicated IP addresses to multi-table and fleece unsuspecting players. Moreover, it was quite obvious that there were players colluding, chip dumping, and sharing hand info over third-party messenger applications. Pokerbros is a total scam!
After losing 6 $50 buy-in ($300) on this sham of a poker app, I finally deleted the shit off of my phone and will never play on it again. I thought Global Poker was shady, but this garbage app really takes the cake when reeling in unsuspecting poker players to rob them blind of their money.
Well anytime there is money involved you can bet your sweet xxx there is someone trying to get it.So these pokersites have to stay on top of things and rid the site of these people . There is cheating on everysite.. they have more than one way to cheat at online poker. And there is no oversight in the online thingy so as long as its no regulated all you have is the Word of the site itself..You have to be able to trust the pokersite..online poker is a scam period havent you all seen the movie casino LOL, there is collusion and cheating on every online poker network you can ever think of or find you just have to get good and beat the cheats!
WellllllDude I have seen comments like this all over the web about online poker. The fact is simple. Pot buying and bluffing don’t work. Going all in with pocket anything preflop is stupid and will get you popped. Doesn’t mean it’s rigged. I’ve cashed out numerous times from several clubs that I’m in on PokerBros. Also cashed out on SWC and in BetOnline/Nitrogen. I’ve lossed a couple hundred but I’ve won more. I’ve been playing online poker for about 2 months now. I was weary at first about sending anyone any money so I tried 25 bucks. It worked I won and cashed out. Right now I have put $300 into the sites/apps I play on. I have cashed out $600 total from the various games. Saying it’s a scam because you lose or blame a bot. Bots are easy to track and delete and they do that. Granted one might be on a table you’re on but all you have to do is pay attention to bet amounts and times and the type of bets for their hand. Also you don’t need to play every hand and you don’t need to raise like a maniac every time you have a pocket pair or ace/face cards before the flop. Poker is a long game not an instant jackpot 2 hands later ( tho that does happen occasionally, the other day on my first hand on poker bros while I was take a deuce I hit quad Queeshas. Dude had pocket aces and thought his boat was the cats pajamas, he went all in before even seeing how I was gonna bet. 3queens on the board is a dangerous full house. Well I ended up smoking his $89 all in with the pot already at $75. And he called me a bot afterwards and left. We at the table laughed) play smart lose small. Maybe cash games aren’t your thing. Play tournaments with no rebuys/addons. Find your niche before you call it a scam. Or maybe you just suck at poker, it happens. You don’t face to play/raise every hand. And folding doesn’t make you a pussy.
Gl and play smart y’all.
I downloaded the app to my phone, too small for me to be able to read. Not sure how to get into the private clubs.
I have read warnings everywhere that you should only use this to play with a group of friends that you know. Apparently there are some legit agents running good rooms. But there are definitely rooms that are bad.
The software is good, but if you are in a room where there are 8 players against you and 6 of them are having side conversation of what they have in there hands they can definitely have an advantage. They can say go for the inside straight because non of us folded a 9. It is great information. Knowing how many spades are out is a much bigger advantage if you are going for the flush.
Some of these club sites are truly having random dealing, but they are not monitoring who is in the rooms together.
New guy at a club is always at a disadvantage.
Check out the clubs, the bigger the club, the more likely that it is fair. The bigger clubs are making their money on rakeback and referrals. Also smaller cash tables are less likely to be scammed.

Okay, but from what I understand who steals are the players. What did the room gain from this? and what is her fault? are you implying that the collusion inspection should be greater?
as clubs run by people they are exempt from this, the clubs are the responsibility of the creators. This creates a big loophole for scams unfortunately.
Exactly. The title of this post should be "there are scammers on PokerBros" rather than "PokerBros is a scam".
It sounds like the players or the club you played with/on is shady and not the app itself. The app itself does not take in any money for chips and makes its money by selling gems and memberships for more features like rabbit hunting. In other words the app developers do not have any incentive to rig the game in any way.
Thank for the info Maybachs. I had never heard of that place. Now I know what it's about !
