Don't you check the blind levels and durations before you play? They have turbos there as well in case you haven't checked.
Your complaint is the reason why I personally find PP very attractive.

All it means to me , is , Starting stack to large / starting blinds to low . 280 players should not take 6.5 Hrs . With such a long late rego there is no way you can tell , how many players and so , how long the duration . What i am stating is 6.5 hrs is far to long to play with such a small amount of players . Hopefully this statement makes PP even more attractive to you but i cant imagine your hourly income from PP would attract me .

I really fail to see what your gripe is? If you want a fast tourney then play a turbo. Most tourney players would love deep stack tourneys. If you want to limit your time at the table then play cash games?

It's not unusual for MTTs to finish quickly if you're 200bbs deep with 10-15 min blind levels. While others take longer. It generally depends on the overall skill of the player field, which is outside the operator's control. And in this instance you could chalk it up to an anomaly and take on turbos, which are also available at PP.
You could be constructive in your feedback if you provide tournament details, blind levels, stack depths and possible improvements. My opinion though is that I'm extremely glad that PP has this variety, because it greatly reduces shortstack play and push/fold variance.

Then play one that suits your personal taste! MOST of the tournaments on partypoker actually have fast structures (too fast for my taste!). If you read through the different structures you'd see the differences. (they're faster than the Cardschat Partypoker freeroll structure! Much faster!)

fwiw, a 1500 chip stack for the 180man sng's on stars took OVER 4 hours to end (actually think it was close to 4hours just to get in the money (before they paid out 20%). Maybe you're not used to going deep in a tourney to know that for a few hundred players you can expect to go this long for a regular tourney.

Do you want to know what is actually a huge joke? You complaining about how long a buyin tourney lasts for. And do you know why? ...
In the past 4 months you've played ~110 tournaments on Partypoker. Of those 100 tourneys, ONLY 6 (six) of them have been buyins. ALL the rest have been Oceania Daily freerolls on Partypoker in which you've won $217.00 (FOR FREE!). Typical number of entrants is ~35 players.
Of the Six buyin tourneys you've played, you've busted out 214th/ 220, 288th/ 293, 55th/ 56, 85th/ 98, & now just a few days ago you got 20th/ 246 and you're complaining about how long the game went for. Guess what.... the other games would've gone that long too if you hadn't busted out of them all in the very first level. If you don't want to play a tournament for 6hrs., don't register for it (that is if you're expecting to get in the money).
Some sites have 5hrs. late reg.! LoL

In the 100 tournaments you've played prior to that, ALL of those were also daily Freerolls, with low number of entrants (~30entrants), with only 3 actual buyin Tourneys (and 4 buyin Satellites.. entries won via freerolls). And you're complaining about the length of the game.

I play the only free roll that is for my fellow countrymen . I play it to support the small numbers . It is the only free roll i have supported . Why did you stop at the $217 , did you not want to give any kudos . As i stated in the decathlon forum , supply your PS username so we can compare poker prowess . I have FT,d 7000 player tournaments that took 7/8 hours . I think your making yourself out to be something your not : A poker expert . Prove it SUPPLY YOUR PS username

I wasn't putting down your phenomenal poker skilzzzz and royal awesomeness... I was merely pointing out "how can you complain about the length of a tourney when you've previously almost played NONE? And when you have, it clearly shows you've only lasted for Level 1" Also, "the freak'n site that you're stating you'll never play on there again.. what a complete joke (etc.) is the same site that has supplied you with your DAILY game of 30entrants and FREE MONEY (over $200)... and yet you're complaining about the length of a completely normal tourney? How does that even remotely begin to make sense?"

Could something possibly be done about this person?
I got an invite to a couple of those priv. centroll PP Live games today & was pretty disgusted seeing this one player's chat. It wasn't just one player he was saying racial comments to... it was many & often (noticed him doing this on his other tables as well).
11,000+ freerolls he's played & this is how he chooses to treat other members on the site??? How does this reflect on the site for the new player just starting out?
