well i had a look through their mtt lobby and all i seen were a few mtts below $1, after that they had some $1.10's, $2.20 omahas and then the jump was up to $5.50...... unless im missing something.
if they really want to grab some of the pokerstars player base they'd be doing a great thing by adding in $2.20,$3.30,$4.40 mtts as well
I agree 100%.
They actually used to have some $2 &/or $3 rebuys that were good & always had lots of entrants in them. Not sure why they got rid of them
With regards to the smaller stake players - we have just introduced our Bootcamp flyweight series
Also - powerfest kicks off on the 1st May with 3 weeks of poker action catering to all....
There's definite improvements for players of all MTT buyin levels lately.
That bootcamp series might be good for some players just wanting to get their feet wet at '
real money' games, & perhaps some freerollers hoping to move up. And then perhaps they'll gravitate towards marginally bigger buyins in the future (helping to increase player pool size).
I really agree with Toots here though. Party needs to add in at least a bunch of $2 & $3 & perhaps keeping with their boxing theme, could refer to them as "Flyweight" (or something along those lines). Perhaps adding these in every 30mins. past the hour (to go with the $5's which are now running on the hour, pretty much every hour). No doubt in my mind that these would be very popular & would have potential for bring a lot more players to the site.
Adding in some $2 & $3 rebuys (or 1R/1A , 2R/1A) games & including them in the 'Featherweight' class would be cool too. (perhaps putting them at 00:15, 15mins. past the hour, each hour during prime time). I'd hazard a guess that a large percentage of the players who are entering your $5 tournaments would also add these other games to their computer screens if they existed in the tournament lobby.
One other thing. It'd be nice to see some more promotions. Even something similiar to the one that was ran where if say you played 'x' number of pts., it'd reveal a card that had the possibility of a prize (... $5 bonus (to clear), $5 MTT ticket, $22 ticket, or even just a 'good luck' 'try again').
'Or' perhaps some small deposit bonus where if one were to deposit say $50, they could receive 'X' bonus that they'd need to clear 'X' number of pts. in 1 week (or 1 mth.) or something like that.
Great improvements on the site over the past year! And what used to be software that was notorious for glitches, crashing/freezing, and just a huge pain in the a55 now runs very smoothly for me (& this is while using an outdated crappy laptop running with WinVista).
I'm sure alot of the improvements have come as a result of your efforts & the connection you have with the players. Well done!
