From What i understand Pokerstars releases star codes randomly but more so for the players who play alot on there site faithfully ,as well they drop a few bucks into your account on your birthday as well this has happened to me the last 2 years on my birthday GOOD luck .

To me on my birthday PS has never done any gifts, even a few bucks

Lately they are only giving star code to inactive users, so we will have to wait for some other special event like the "Spin & goals" to receive something free from pokerstars

Stars seems to be focused more on new forms of games rather than Star Codes these days. For me, they're both gimmicks, but at least the new games (like Unfold poker) have some redeeming value.

Quite a good deposit bonus I must admit considering there's no strings attached.That's a rare enough thing these days.I did have one $20 starcode sent to me years ago...was for a random 100 people or something like that,that was a huge bonus I should be thankful for I guess considering I'm always kicking around in micro stakes.still don't like what Pokerstars has become compared to what it was...rrrrrrr.
