Unfortunately the update didn't work for me and once again I'm unable to get onto WPT. (the final part for the computer shows up tomorrow... it should be ready for this weekend! )

I'm sure it will be fine.
I'm able to play on there while using a 4th gen. i5 (i5-4670) & 16GB Ram but if I add in other tables from a couple other sites, my CPU will be running at 100%.
I'm not very familiar with AMD Ryzen cpu chips but just now I looked it up to see how it compares to an Intel. It seems it is about the equivalent of a 4th gen.. i7 (i7-4790k). I've played a bit on a computer that has i7-4790k and it handles it much better than my i5 does so perhaps you'll be okay. I actually even went & purchased a used i7-4790 to upgrade my current computer so that playing on WPT (at same time as 2 or 3 other sites) would work good for me. Unfortunately the cpu I bought was toast (garbage... ruined).

I read recently that WPT will be improving their software sometime in very near future

I think it would be enough if you don’t play in several other rooms at the same time. I’ve noticed that WPT has the slowest software between the poker rooms I use, I have bought recently an acer predator i7 12700H and makes a lot of noise when I play on WPT (I play 4 tables at the same time) and this doesn’t happen when I play in other rooms. I changed my laptop 3x this year (bad luck), the first one was a Lenovo ryzen 7 5700U and I think it was the best one to play poker and it was more than enough to play WPT and others rooms at the same time (but the screen broke), then I bought an acer aspire i5 12450H which was ok to play in WPT and maybe one other room, if I tried to open WPT more 2-3 rooms at the same time, it wasn’t fast enough to play.

I'm a low stakes poker player from Brazil on the WPT.

You have good offers but I believe you can still improve a lot on your software.

Loading the game (on the PC and although I don't remember what it's like on the smartphone, I remember seeing other members complaining about cell phone crashes).
The game screen is configurable, which is great for setting multiple screens on the monitor, however, the resolution is terrible.

The replay of the plays is extremely bad and slow to view.

I agree, I couldn’t even download this poker client, I just wasted a lot of time and nerves. Then I looked at the reviews and realized that this was the worst poker client out of all the existing ones and I realized that I didn’t want to try to download it anymore.

I just wanted to mention here,
Yesterday I made my first Withdrawal from WPTPoker and it went off as fast (or faster) as some other sites I've played on for years and have done many transactions (WD's too, lol) with. A+ for WPTpoker on the banking end of things. It's great to have full confidence in the site you're playing on. (now if only I could get my new computer put together... first things first!)

The tournament is scheduled for this Sunday, but when I checked earlier, it didn't appear in the Promo section, so I thought this Sunday's was the last of these tournaments.

Just checked again and is now back in the Promo section, as well as a few others that weren't earlier... The thing is I think I know what could have happened. I use my phone to play at WPT, and I may have lost connection for a moment and that's why I could only see the first 6 promos and no more. I now see the rest of them. 😂

Hey @CRStals , There's always hope! We are very attentive to any regulation changes and are working on multiple licenses to bring WPT global to different geos, Ontario being one of them. With that being said, I'm afraid nothing new has happened since June. I'll be sure to update you and the community here with any changes!

The current 'league' via Twitch & Reddit. I've got to say that was the most convoluted instructions I've seen for any league-type game anywhere EVER! I followed what I thought was the instructions. Attempted to type in a password that repeatedly didn't work for me and now was just informed "Oh that registration closed 2 hrs. ago" What? I followed this for almost a week in hopes of playing the League.
I need to let you know, it was not worth fck'n around with. I don't understand why something that could really be so very simple became something that ultimately wasn't even possible. Reading through the comments of others and hearing how it wasn't working for them as well. It just seemed ridiculous. But there's 55 reg'd in it. Game doesn't run til' tomorrow... but apparently the reg. is closed?
Wait for an email for the password. Really? How? And what? I signed up to the group on Reddit. I posted on there a bit (not only on that post), I've been on the other Twitch group for awhile.
Honestly it just seems extremely unorganized. Honestly reminds me a bit of the tournament lobby layaout on WPT and how the software runs (or doesn't run).
I would LOVE to see the site take off. But honestly it seems to be at a slow crawl at best. All the recreational players that I know and who aren't playing on there is mostly due to because of how poorly the software runs. Obviously you can't do anything about it but it makes wonder how hard is it to get it operating decently? I haven't seen a site that bad since Yatahay took over DoylesRoom.

It is frustrating.
And here is my dilemma with playing on the site. If I choose to play WPT it means I will need to forfeit playing on most of the other sites I'd typically be playing on simultaneously (even if it's only to play 5 or 6 mtt's but preferably 10 - 12)). So if I choose WPT I would be playing maybe 2 or 3 because they don't exist.
For cash tables, the zoom-type game, you can only play on 1 table on WPT and it's like 10-max. Why aren't players able to 3 or 4-table this format?

I think I'll be waiting on the sidelines mostly, until the site runs more smoothly for me... and promos like 'league' etc. I can't waste my time fk'n around with that. Life's too short.
