The fact that their RNG isn't certified, we don't even know if they are actually using an RNG. My experience on Ignition has been sketchy at best outright fraud is more likely.
I play on 3 regulated sites and can honestly say I have never seen deals like this on a regular basis in 16 years of playing online poker.
I have seen far too many suck-outs of nut flops to crazy callers. I decided to stop watching cards and loaded DriveHud 2 to track player's tendencies, and this is where it became disturbing. Here is what I found.
Mainly on weekends but during high times during the week, I found some truly crazy winning stats.
Winning players were passive in general. They had VP's over 50% but most of the time over 70%, as high as in the high 80%, and PFRs under 10 (this would normally allow you to take advantage of their poor play). Their are players that have these High VP's and high PFR's but they are the rare ones. I included some screenshots. They had winning total hands played percentages in the '30 to 50% range far exceeding any normal win rate, especially with the garbage cards they had. The last stat that doesn't make sense was their WTSD stats of nearly 40% average far above most players at the table. They, know how to build the pot quickly. Also take note of the number of hands vs. VP WTSD and Pot size. These fish are killing it at a far too high a win rate.
These players seem to come onto the table, build a 200 to 300% increase in their pot and then jump off and do all this in under 75 hands. Just doesn't work for me. I saw one that played 82 hands, and his stack was 400% profit. Crazy in that few of hands.
Let's discuss some hands: I was playing .10/.25 My first day was sickening with the number of flop nuts that were cracked by these types of players.
AK Strait Suck out river Boat A's and 6'a Turn 6 River 6. Lost the whole stack. I was shoving hard, expecting to carry the fish had A6o
K set sucked out to 3 8 off straight, hitting a 2-8 straight. Lost my whole stack again. NO I didn't go all in I played it hard and bet both Turn and River I didn't see the possible 2-8 straight that was made on the turn and river. The player called with nothing, only 4 outs on the gut shot and hit. This wouldn't be a big deal but these types of suck outs were constantly happening to the same fish.
5 Set sucked out
9 Set sucked out
J quads sucked out to K quads three on the street. I haven't had a Quad in a long time on my 3 regulated sites; I have seen a couple. I lost my whole stack on this hand.
I saw 2 other sets of quads, and they were also in the same hand, one sucking out to the other.
This was all in 3 to 4 hours of play.
I'm simply trying to break even now until I clear my deposit hold to try and get some back. It's a personal thing now.
My Conclusion: Ignition isn't using an RNG, and certain players seem to know not only what you're holding but what's coming or have an intimate knowledge of how the hand will be dealt. It's like playing Postel, but he also knows what's coming. I have been playing for about an hour today, and here is a screenshot of my A's sucking out to a 78% VP play who built this stack quickly and bolted shortly after this hand. Notice his stack and hands played stats, the same BS again.
Screen Shot 275 sucked out to the flush. After call downs the whole way. Noticed the villains stack and VP.
Screen Shot 277 sucked out to the fish and folded when I saw both the straight draw and the flush draw coming on the river as usual.
Screen Shot 274 notices our friends stack again.
Screen Shot 278 just got to the table and had some good deals early (this is typical also) but notice the VP of the fish in 7 hands and his over 200% profit.
These types of hands and wins are rare, on Ignition they are the norm. Getting in with these fish with 20% of hands would normally be a recipe for winning. Not on Ignition. I don't say this lightly. Getting on a bad run is normal and happens. However, I'm not used to getting smoked constantly by fish that seem to be psychic.
Lastly, my VP is normally running 18 to 23 when I play the same hands-on Ignition, my VP is up around 30 to 35, meaning I'm being dealt top 20% hands more often and sucking them out more often on Ignition.
I also don't like the fact that it's an anonymous play site. Players tracking other players has led to the catching of many cheats over the years. On Ignition, that's not happening because you have no idea who your playing. This is a recipe for the house to cheat. It's not creating a level playing field. It does, however, create the perfect environment for an unregulated site to cheat you blind, and you will have no proof of it.
If you're going to play on Ignition, pay close attention to VP of your opponent. If it's over 50 you will suck out to them regularly. Play NIT and become a caller at best with these people. Play like they know what you have because I'm pretty sure they do. Pushing these players is pointless. They will call, and you will lose your hand if they do. As soon as I see one of these players, I try to bolt to a new table. The problem is, I don't know if I'm right back on a table with another one because of the Anonymous play or the same player on another table. They can play up to 4 tables also. I have 0 faith in the deal at Ignition and even less faith that Ignition is on the up and up.
