Completely agree. I have seen this same situation many of times. The chip leader at the table wins most of the time.
5 times average stack and chip leader you have a much wider range of options you can bully from position with shit cards you can play a wider range of hands lots of things and icm on paper some calls raises with wild hand like j7 or something become realistic and sound investing after the flop. play or fold dont chase consider pre flop limp with top 10 percenters they will do the betting for you after you nail what you needed on the flop

Yes, some of these are weird like that iTech labs one that covers only casino games that you mention.

Others just talk about a % of payout being fair and dont really mention anything about cards being spread.

rigged to create action

i see this type of stuff happen live but maybe ill agree to more so online but thats because we see much much much more hands online the play is faster and we cannot see faces all we can do is learn someones betting patterns

i have been playing 25+ years live and online. I am a winning player asccross the board. i will say it looks like the cards are dealt in a way where you only run super hot or cold. im playing now and just gave 3 really bad beats to the same guy. Anyone would of played my hands the same way i was just 2nd best and sucked out. I still though believe theres cheating as its almost impossible for it to be real. If you win 5 buyins one day it doesnt matter how good you play next day its going back. i think the site spreads wins and losses around to people that will put in the most hands. If your a player that will play all day they will make sure they keep you in action. Its true though you wont find this many bad beats anywhere else. Also to not get a license when they are easy to get is shady and speaks volumes

Yes you can beat the system, and these type of hands happen in both live games and online games regardless if they are cash games or tournaments. (Runner Runner cards happen) Turning or rivering winning cards happens. Flopping quads happens. It is all part of the game. Yes is it frustrating and tilting at times, and just because you have AK and flopped AK doesn't mean that is auto win. Depending how many other players in the hand, There is still a chance for you to lose that hand. And if you were a real player in 10/20 that means there were other real players at the same table. And depending on what hands other people have 2/3 is still a connector and a strong hand if played right.
U can beat the system?? Cmon now its scripted for the fact that its rigged theres no real poker player that's playing $10/$20 bet 3/4 of his bankroll on 3 2 off suit(heart spade)while I have AK spade suited and the flop A club K club 3diamond turn 3 club river 3 spade. Now you tell me that ain't rigged

100 hands is 100 hands same with 500 and 1000 doesnt matter how quick you get them. So leave that faster hands bs where it belongs. as said math is math, odds are odds for reasons not just cause and yes you must just be a very lucky person. Love the Loyalist LOL

something fishy at Bovada

The amount of bad beats are insane
this last Sunday alone I was beat by quads 4x
beat by str8 flush 3x and runner runner beats so many times
Ive had the best hand preturn/river every time. I know poker ebbs and flows but this is statistically impossible. I've played online since 2008 and have never experienced anything like this.
time to move on i guess. I want to know how this is legal and if not what we can do about it.
I just went through playing everyday for two weeks of nothing but bad beats, nobody is that unlucky
why is online sports betting legal everywhere but not poker this only makes it so we are stuck with the scam sites that the gov will do nothing about. so very frustrating

Your government wouldn't do anything if online poker was legal either. Government cares about getting their cut from online poker, not about whether it is legitimately random or not.

I have been playing on ignition for a couple of years and I dont know if its rigged or not but I have seen crazy things happen with the hands as in live poker.I play low stakes so hopefully if there is cheating they are going after bigger fish.

Unfortunately it is rigged

Hello everyone, I too have had the same experiences that you all have shared. I have been playing poker since 2003 for the first 10 of those years I literally played everyday. I have seen a ludicrous amount of hands mostly online, probably 90% of my hands seen have been online. I played mostly 6 handed and 9 handed 25c/50c cash tables and some various sit and gos and tourneys. I am a winning player and am a student of the game and constantly work to get better. However, the current state of online poker is so warped and rigged that experience and optimal play does not matter on Bovada or Betonline cash games for that matter. I consistently get the money in, in fantastic spots repeatedly versus the very poorly skilled low stakes players on bovada only to lose consistently to 2, 3, 4, 7. 10 outers. When I say consistent I mean it is not uncommon to lose multiple 2 and 3 outers within 25 hands of each other. I suspect the “action hand” or certain hands are scripted stronger at the lower stakes to increase the rake to the rake cap. From a business perspective if a business can win $1 a hand vs 10c a hand 10000000 times a day, do you honestly believe they would not influence this to make the most profit. Since the vast majority of games are low stakes, unfortunately these sites see that potential rake and cannot help themselves. I wanted to believe that online poker was legitimate and used to defend it and say “variance” like many others for years. This is so far beyond variance though that any reasonable person can understand this. Consider the fact that none of these companies have to abide by rules or regulations that any casino in the U.S. would have to. There is no recourse for players. No one can sue them, heck they don’t even let people talk at their tables. It is 100% rigged

The fact that their RNG isn't certified, we don't even know if they are actually using an RNG. My experience on Ignition has been sketchy at best outright fraud is more likely.
I play on 3 regulated sites and can honestly say I have never seen deals like this on a regular basis in 16 years of playing online poker.

I have seen far too many suck-outs of nut flops to crazy callers. I decided to stop watching cards and loaded DriveHud 2 to track player's tendencies, and this is where it became disturbing. Here is what I found.

Mainly on weekends but during high times during the week, I found some truly crazy winning stats.

Winning players were passive in general. They had VP's over 50% but most of the time over 70%, as high as in the high 80%, and PFRs under 10 (this would normally allow you to take advantage of their poor play). Their are players that have these High VP's and high PFR's but they are the rare ones. I included some screenshots. They had winning total hands played percentages in the '30 to 50% range far exceeding any normal win rate, especially with the garbage cards they had. The last stat that doesn't make sense was their WTSD stats of nearly 40% average far above most players at the table. They, know how to build the pot quickly. Also take note of the number of hands vs. VP WTSD and Pot size. These fish are killing it at a far too high a win rate.

These players seem to come onto the table, build a 200 to 300% increase in their pot and then jump off and do all this in under 75 hands. Just doesn't work for me. I saw one that played 82 hands, and his stack was 400% profit. Crazy in that few of hands.

Let's discuss some hands: I was playing .10/.25 My first day was sickening with the number of flop nuts that were cracked by these types of players.

AK Strait Suck out river Boat A's and 6'a Turn 6 River 6. Lost the whole stack. I was shoving hard, expecting to carry the fish had A6o
K set sucked out to 3 8 off straight, hitting a 2-8 straight. Lost my whole stack again. NO I didn't go all in I played it hard and bet both Turn and River I didn't see the possible 2-8 straight that was made on the turn and river. The player called with nothing, only 4 outs on the gut shot and hit. This wouldn't be a big deal but these types of suck outs were constantly happening to the same fish.
5 Set sucked out
9 Set sucked out
J quads sucked out to K quads three on the street. I haven't had a Quad in a long time on my 3 regulated sites; I have seen a couple. I lost my whole stack on this hand.
I saw 2 other sets of quads, and they were also in the same hand, one sucking out to the other.
This was all in 3 to 4 hours of play.

I'm simply trying to break even now until I clear my deposit hold to try and get some back. It's a personal thing now.

My Conclusion: Ignition isn't using an RNG, and certain players seem to know not only what you're holding but what's coming or have an intimate knowledge of how the hand will be dealt. It's like playing Postel, but he also knows what's coming. I have been playing for about an hour today, and here is a screenshot of my A's sucking out to a 78% VP play who built this stack quickly and bolted shortly after this hand. Notice his stack and hands played stats, the same BS again.

Screen Shot 275 sucked out to the flush. After call downs the whole way. Noticed the villains stack and VP.
Screen Shot 277 sucked out to the fish and folded when I saw both the straight draw and the flush draw coming on the river as usual.
Screen Shot 274 notices our friends stack again.
Screen Shot 278 just got to the table and had some good deals early (this is typical also) but notice the VP of the fish in 7 hands and his over 200% profit.

These types of hands and wins are rare, on Ignition they are the norm. Getting in with these fish with 20% of hands would normally be a recipe for winning. Not on Ignition. I don't say this lightly. Getting on a bad run is normal and happens. However, I'm not used to getting smoked constantly by fish that seem to be psychic.

Lastly, my VP is normally running 18 to 23 when I play the same hands-on Ignition, my VP is up around 30 to 35, meaning I'm being dealt top 20% hands more often and sucking them out more often on Ignition.

I also don't like the fact that it's an anonymous play site. Players tracking other players has led to the catching of many cheats over the years. On Ignition, that's not happening because you have no idea who your playing. This is a recipe for the house to cheat. It's not creating a level playing field. It does, however, create the perfect environment for an unregulated site to cheat you blind, and you will have no proof of it.

If you're going to play on Ignition, pay close attention to VP of your opponent. If it's over 50 you will suck out to them regularly. Play NIT and become a caller at best with these people. Play like they know what you have because I'm pretty sure they do. Pushing these players is pointless. They will call, and you will lose your hand if they do. As soon as I see one of these players, I try to bolt to a new table. The problem is, I don't know if I'm right back on a table with another one because of the Anonymous play or the same player on another table. They can play up to 4 tables also. I have 0 faith in the deal at Ignition and even less faith that Ignition is on the up and up.
