I had my account frozen just for having multiple accounts from my ip address, not even mine. And it happened fairly recently. You just need to speak to the support. I must say though that they are not good service whatsoever. It took long time for them to answer every email but in the end thing got resolved so you should speak with them

I would have thought one popular reason is to abuse new player bonuses. While an abuse of TOS, this I would be least concerned with as it is not cheating other players. Opening to play multi accounts at the same time is clear cheating.
Ah yes good one pjokay - didn't think of that - and one that almost ALWAYS comes with strings attached now days.

No!

Change your real residence address and create a new account with a new address, new email or just play in other poker rooms. Good luck

If you do that and you win the Sunday Million they will check and re-check your identity, you'll be caught and they won't pay you a cent. They won't even refund the buy in.

I was banned from pokerstars in 2014 because i live in Spain and although I had an account with Pokerstars.es (where you can only pay against Spanish players), I opened another account with Pokerstars.eu because I wanted to play in bigger fields with players from Europe. I never used both accounts at the same time.

It's now 2023 and I wrote them an email today asking if they would reconsider my case.

Follow the rules and don't multi account. Thought that was obvious....

A nightmare for any player

Good afternoon everyone.
For this not to happen, just respect the rules of the site.
I have a pokerstars account and it will be 1 year, until today I received a single notification from the site, I did not know that I could not open software that calculates the strength of your hand against a range of villain, that was early on when I created the bill.
Pokerstars sent a message that appeared on the screen when I logged in to the account stating that it is prohibited to use this software when logged in to pokerstars and that repetition could result in temporary lockout or banned account.
I contacted them and explained that I did not know and pledged not to open any more software banned by pokerstars, they said all right.
I am reading player complaints regarding customer support, in my opinion the pokerstars support is excellent (the best), pokerstars is a very correct site if the player respects the site rules you will have problems.
Now if you've been banned, go play in other poker rooms and don't make the same mistake.
I think that's a fair reply. Ignorance isn't an excuse for breaking the rules, but if the op, is claiming this, rather than deliberate, they might get the same level of pardon like you.

I already lost an account for multiples too, then I had to send my documents and confirm the reason it was, and it was because I forgot the password of the old account and after a week they released one of the accounts and the other was frozen, but avoid , use only one account because the poker sites are very strict and can ban you forever

This seems like a much lesser offense than multi accounting where you could potentially enter the same tournament twice, so hopefully you will be ok
