God knows how GG have become so big. Yes they have a lot of game choices but : Their software is glitchy and slow. They charge you
$1 for withdrawing, the only site that does. Their customer service is slow and terrible.
I was asked to verify my account last week, did so, a day later I was locked out of my account and had to verify my account again, got an email saying
"congrats, your account is verified and an hour later was asked again. I emailed customer service and amazingly they replied saying some mumbo jumbo I
didn't understand, saying it wouldn't happen again ? Oh yea ?
So I have withdrawn my bankroll and will play my poker in less in vogue site which works.
Goodbye and good riddance GG Poker. You suck.
That's too bad Col because you're missing out on the one site that is taking over all others.
When I first signed up I got the run-around on the verification process. But once it was resolved it was smooth sailing!
At first I HATED the software (all the dumb extra stuff I wasn't interested in... ie. just deal my fk'n cards face up to me, I don't need to squeeze them... puh-leezz. And why is it asking me if I want to take 'insurance' after the flop? Just deal the freak'n cards... i've got other tables running!)
Once I was able to sort through the 'settings' /features and get it operating more to my liking, I have had ZERO issues with the site & imo it actually runs smoother & better than Pokerstars does today. I have also noticed that pretty much all of the top MTT players (at all buyin levels) have migrated to GGPoker (just take a look at their $10k buyin Super Millions game!). And for the low stakes, micro stakes players, you won't find a site with more 'gambly' type players on them. Of course this has brought all of the good players over too.
I still haven't even actually played that much on GG (mostly because I'm accustomed to playing on different sites at different times of the day and I know the players/player pool/regs. on them quite well, whereas on GG I am still in the dark in that regard).
Numbers of players in tournaments and the size of the prizepools are HUGE vs. Pokerstars these days.
partypoker seems to be dying off
(tables I normally play on there are just dead this month)... so I WD almost everything I had on there. Where could I move it to? SportsBetting? (idk.. maybe a bit of it), ACR? 888Poker? No... I think GGPoker is where I'll be playing most of my volume now.
