I have a similar story, but I'm too much of a fish to play ring games.
I haven't tried sitngoes yet.
I am risk adverse so I've used my freeroll winnings to buy in to small field buyins with $$'s added.
The better the overlay the more I win with very little risk.
My bankroll doesn't experience swings just continued growth.
Thus far growth averages about $250 a week.

It sounds like you have a very consistent BR building up there.
I love MTTs, but am looking for a new site with smaller fields and bigger overlay; exactly what you describe.
