I never had contact with them personally, I just know these problems with them of my ex who had no regular income.
But maybe you should write an email there, that they pass along your issue to a staff member who is capable to solve things for you.
But I do not understand why you need a positive Schufa score to play poker? You only deposit money, so they are not at risk for anything.

Sports betting, lottery, online casino: Luckily with SCHUFA!

With the new birth date check, SCHUFA is expanding its offering for more player and youth protection for the online gaming market. With this educational initiative, SCHUFA is providing more information on the subject of gambling.

Lottery, sports betting, casinos and much more: Gambling is widespread in society
The many players are “people like you and me”: According to a study by the Federal Center for Health Education, 75 percent of 16 to 70-year-olds in Germany have already played a game of chance (at least) once. Around 38 percent of the German population spends money on gambling every month. These include lotto, sports betting, casinos and much more. A quarter of gamblers spend more than 50 euros per month on gambling.
Sports betting, online casinos and lottery: The rules are in the Interstate Gambling Treaty
On July 1, 2021, the Interstate Treaty on Gambling (GlüStV) came into force. It stands for a nationwide, uniform, legal and market-compliant new regulation of the gaming sector in germany. In particular, it regulates requirements for player and youth protection as well as the legalization of online gambling, which was prohibited until then in Germany. SCHUFA is very involved in the area of player and youth protection. With various services for sports betting providers.
SCHUFA comes into play with these three points:
Do SCHUFA gambling products influence the SCHUFA score?
One important question still remains: Do these tests influence the general SCHUFA score? No SCHUFA gaming products have no influence on a further credit rating. Only the information that a gaming provider has requested information from SCHUFA and, if applicable, which score was transmitted is saved. This is for transparency vis-à-vis users.
Knowledge can protect: SCHUFA provides information about gambling
You should challenge your luck wisely. That is why we also address the topic of gambling as part of our “Wirtschaftswerkstatt” educational initiative.

Thank you for explaining this so well, GERSteven, but yes it is like this here in good old Germany, lol

And I am very sure, I need to be educated by Schufa, tax offices, and something else here so that I do not waste money on poker and betting.
I am a plus player for years, with freerolls and buy-in games combined. Sorry, if I will ever win very big, I will leave this country and take my parents with me if possible. :D
And sorry government, if I did not play enough Lotto in my lifetime here in Germany!!! :D

I finally understood the problem which I was facing. It looks like that my address details in Schufa database were outdated and when I was trying to verify my account on PS with the actual address it was saying that something wrong with my data. This verification process works like this in the background: all your data on PS will be compared with data in Schufa database and if something has difference then it throws error otherwise it goes through. I changed few years ago my address and I guess it was the problem. Schufa just asked me to send them my ID and “Meldebescheinigung” and after some time the information should be updated on their side and the verification on PS should work.

Hope this helps someone else with the same problem

Btw. today some PokerNews freerolls are visible again for me... But who knows, maybe it is an error of PS again....
The PokerNews freerolls are in the middle of the night at 01.00 MEZ , seems that the Europeans no longer play a role.

How to Play Freerolls at 888 Poker? I get the following message popped up:
There seems to be a technical issue with the regulatory system operating in Germany. Please try again later.

Anyone else have the problem?

I had this problem at the beginning, but meanwhile not anymore. Maybe you should update the client and/or check if your account is verified.

Sorry, Isa, but it's not so bad here in Germany, comparing to other countries.
It has good and of course some bad sides, but, here is still good, when you take in consideration all of the good stuff Germany has to offer it's still better than in more that 90% of world.
I am really glad to be here, and to live here.
This BS with PS is just something we need to live with, and try to make some changes, to achieve our goals to play on PS our free games again.
:)
I miss them, but already found a bunch of other games I can play on Party, ACR, some on 888 and/or BOL (which I don't like much).
;)

Do you have to make a deposit just to play freerolls? I've only played at pokerstars and never made a deposit. It's obviously the case with partypoker.

As you said, depends on each site individually.

But usually you have to make a deposit anyhow in case you also want to withdraw the money afterwards.

A very good poker room as an alternative for German players is also GG Poker where you can play the Cardschat freerolls and you get a daily free ticket for e.g. a spin and go or Battle Royal (special bounty tournament with 30 players).
I think it's the best poker room at the moment. I used to play only on PS, but since the changeover for German players it is no longer as lucrative there.

I know what you mean to some extent.
But well, of course, you can have other freerolls, but it is not the same as playing freerolls with the community at PS
where you are easily able to chat with all others.
With 888, which is now the only site I still can play on, it is different. There I could chat, but others for example from the UK can not chat there :O
I just loved to play on PS and felt close to our community.
And yes, I can play other MTTs as well there, but it is not the same. I feel not like at home, somehow :)
