Is 888 violating privacy?

888 has just made it so that you can see how much money has been through peoples accounts on the table.
I don't want people to see how much I play or spend. I am sure other people don't want me to see theirs either as its very personal. It private.
This is the same as having my bank account open for all to see how much has been through it over the years.
This is clearly my private information. Not public.
I have tried to find a way to inform 888 of this potential violation. But I can't find a way.

I don't really understand what kind of information is being disclosed. I don't seem to see any data about my financial transactions in the public domain on 888 either. So, I don't really understand what exactly you are talking about?

888 is not the only one doing this. GGPoker has a similar information in their HUD.

I would highly assume it's within their ToS that they are able to show this information.

If you do not like it, you are free to play at another site.

if you don't like it, you can remove settings - game display - enable additional visual and animation features

It seems to me that this is completely unnecessary, it is something personal. It would be bad if you happened to run into a friend who could see your money statistics.

Online privacy laws clearly need to be improved.
Feeling very uncomfortable and on show.

I'm not into bragging about how much I have won, nor do I like the fact that it make me more aware of how much I spend.
I feel like I will probably end up playing less cash games as the weeks move forward now.
888 has already lost a lot of players, this may go on to do further damage to the site. Possibly the industry as a whole.

People have never deposited and have MTT winnings for thousands of dollars. It displays how much you have won, not deposited or spent.
