I thought I reported it on this thread; but I guess I only reported it on my staking thread. But the graphics were WAY off on my winnings.

My actual final winnngs were +$6,400

Graphics said +$300. Lol
Commentators said I was +$6,925 so they were much closer but somehow both numbers were wrong.

I think they miscounted my buyins because I added $500-$600 several times.

We haven't heard from you for a while, So I was wondering like maybe you were on an epic good run. If it were me I would be thinking. "Alright, I'm going to stay here just one more day and if it continues I'm staying another!". But that's just me. I have no life. :D

I’m sorry if you felt neglected.

I literally went straight from a meeting at work in Portland, OR (like my baggage was in the meeting with me, no jokes) to Ft Lauterdale Florida Played 2.5 days then went straight back to a meeting and work on like 3.5 hours of sleep. Had ZERO time for fraternizing

But....I will tell this funny/humanzing story

I was so nervous then had to pick my friends up from the airport and of course they beg me to take them to the bank and blah blah they’re such ballers with so much cash I couldn’t really say no. Bank takes forever and I’m running late to this cash game...

So.....I’m about to go buy in to game and get a text from Danielle that says “sorry I guess we don’t have a chip runner. We have to buy all the chips we’ll need from the main poker room”

So I go to main poker room and while in Line I calculated in my head how many reds greens blacks and oranges I would need.

I buy $10k in chips which is by far the most chips I’ve ever bought. Yes I bought $10k main event seat but that’s different. You just walk away with a slip of paper and a dream.

So...I’m super nervous and stacking my chips into racks when I SPRAY black chips all over the casino carpet! Like $2,000 worth of black chips lol!

Later I get to table and learn they’ve changed us from $10/25 to $25/25 and no red chips will be allowed on the table. OMG.

So I go to change my red Chips into greens and BOOM! I spray red chips all over the casino floor! Lol! Like $100 of red chips.

OMG

I finally get it sorted then we all decide we need a sleeve Of red chips for dealer tips and waitress tips
Whatever at that point I wasn’t changing any more chips

So, I watched missjacki while playing online. I haven't watched televised poker in awhile. Unfortunately, I was not able to catch Kirsten the following night. I was completely lost on most of the side betting. Would you mind breaking down the different side betting that occurred during that session when and if your busy schedule settles down some?

I didn't get the part where if the other players wanted to pay their tips in red chips that you would be obligated to do the same thing. If the dealers and waitresses don't want to accept any cash tips, just keep the money in your wallet or purse whatever.:p

You did an awesome job at the table, so congratulations! You have become a star!:star: And I have received your payment!:congrats: These are for you. :flowers: :)

I also don't get the part of how you have to stack your own chips into trays. Whenever I buy my own chips the cashier always stacks them for me. That's weird!

I love the thought of you walking through the casino swinging a full purse with $10k in chips. :D

It can be a very unsettling experience. You know that it's got to be time to run away and hide.

On my night we had the 72 game. Any time someone tables 72 and wins any portion of the pot each player atcthe table pays her $100 (so +600 cuz 7 ladies playing). We upped this to $200 for the last half hour or so.

Straddles; mandatory and not mandatory. We never had a permanent straddle but we agreed to a round if straddles several times.

Bomb pots: each time there was a dealer change we all put in $100 (no blinds) and go straight to a flop then play from there.

SB kitty each time the button moves the new SB puts $25 on the button. Each hand only the current SB is eligible to win that kitty. It grows and grows until someone wins it thus incentivizing loose play OOP.

Also not a game but you may have heard us talking about it and gotten confused or thought it was a game but we called it “time flop” and it was our agree upon method of tipping. Each new dealer the first flop they bring the first card off that correlates to a seat number that player pays $25 tip. So we tipped $25 per half hour. YOu could tip more when you wanted. I did $125 in optional tips and 4 time flops so I tipped about $225

Thank you, the bomb pots had me completely lost. I am still a little confused about the straddles. So, does that mean UTG opens for 2bb each time? Also, when you say tables 72, it has to go to showdown right? So, all in with 72 and no callers wouldn't cut it? Thank you for going over this. I was overwhelmed the one time I was in a live tournament. I can't imagine being on television and keeping up with all the crazy sidebets.

I can't answer the straddle question, because that always confuses me, but for the 72, yes, they would have to show.

I have always sort of taken it for granted that a straddle always means that you have to bet twice the big blinds UTG. Here's a definition for you.

Hopefully you get to see your cards UTG if you get raised before the flop.

You automatically put the 2BB raise in before your 2 cards are dealt and before the flop. In this respect, they say that you are raising "In the blind". I hope this helps clear things up for you. :)

Any 72 that wins gets the bonus. You could literally get a walk in your BB and collect as long as you turn your hand up. Early on Kelly Minkin 5b jammed 72o for like 300bb and Lily folds and Kelly collects the pot + the bonus

Straddle: a min bet done UTG blind and you assume the last action. It’s basically a voluntary 3rd blind

There are also Button straddles and other position straddles. Harder to explain but same effect. Button straddle SUCH a massive advantage that it basically ruins the game and everyone plays too tight so we were discouraging it by doing the SB kitty instead.

I like the 72, small blind kitty, and possibly the bomb pots. I think I would fold bomb hands alot.

I think bomb pots are dumb. But I didn’t want to be the only one not agreeing to things. ESP cuz I had already said no to playing $25/50 and said no to permanent straddles. Do everything else I just went with the group on.

What were you playing? I was watching on my smartphone, but the bet totals had too small of print for me to follow while I was playing poker on my computer. Some of those ladies certainly acted like that was small stakes to them.
