Dan's claim to fame was being born rich.Guy won the birth lottery,he puts in a lot of effort to look cool on instagram.That whole place is a fraud. Some-what funny.

The "King of Instagram" as they say, has completely disappeared from Instagram since november last year, despite of the fact that no one has made any statement about it.

Well, I have never followed him (on anything anywhere) but perhaps that would be when things hit a critical mass.

His company was close to bankrupt (idiots had pumped in some $50 million investment) when it was exposed as little more than his piggy bank - paying the rent on his enormous Hollywood bachelor pad which he had pretended he owned etc. This. in spite of the fact his father was also a well known fraudster who bilked countless investors out of tens of millions (many pose this is the source of Bilzerian's wealth as the father never returned the funds).

Then he went off on a European jaunt to avoid the financial scrutiny joined by rich fool Bill Perkins who yet still thinks Bilzerian is cool.

I am not actually sure why PokerGo invites him to play in their televised high roller events. I mean it has to be one of two things. They also find him cool (I would not put it past them for several reasons) or they hope it's potentially like watching a car crash. After all has Bilzerian ever shown he can consistently play well?

I guess they saw it as a big risk reward type of thing. I just don't get it, I doubt many of his IG followers (if real), would all of the sudden pump money into it. Isn't GG still only playable outside of the states?

This guy is something else, it seems his life is party 24/7–365 days of the year.
I feel bad for him, GGpoker is one of my favorite poker sites,
and is getting huge, day after day, I really enjoy playing,
BATTLE ROYALE of Dan Bilzerian.

I really liked his emoticons that they had made, but it is unknown why he is no longer a ggpoker ambassador, they have not communicated, but for sure there will be new things to come for this asian poker giant.

I am going to presume that this was likely a stunt by GG Poker for a few reasons.

The first being, the hiring of Bilzerian in the first place could never have been described as thoughtless as I believe they knew precisely what they were doing. They were courting controversy. As noted, on the first day of that announcement Dan Bilzerian made a really offensive Tweet and GG Poker essentially stayed silent on the matter.

Then, regarding the firing - I presume the story was leaked to spur another reaction. Obviously all images of Bilzerian were removed from the site (Battle Royale and all the emoticons I believe).

Further, and the most dubious aspect...it took them two weeks to clear the matter up?

Maybe they had actually decided to get rid of him, but then for whatever reason the decision was reversed?

We'll all have to wait and see. The Tweet saying he was still a 'partner' at GG disabled any comments...as once again whoever was behind this knew it would be controversial.

You never know with these things. GG has moved at a pace because some smart people are behind the tech and marketing side of the brand. That does not preclude a senior figure (s) within the company making some dumb decisions.
